Ok, now for the top 2 … and boy was it close! It came down to a miniscule 3-point differential.

Will it be the Demons Super Mod Gralin , who entered the league known by many from his activity on the General Discussion board and performed like a seasoned veteran, or will it be Ocha905 , who the Warriors pinched him the Song Contest thread, and despite his Norf allegiences can be quite the deep thinker and witty converser.

Both are worthy winners, but tonight, there can only be one. Let’s get to it …

In the awkward hush that follows, several clear and identifiable voices can be heard above the murmurs …

manangatang yells “This entire award is a sham, and anyone associated with it should be ashamed to their very core!”

Although his mouth was full of doritos and guacamole, T2B_ loudly states “I heartily endorse this event or product” thus revealing his presence tonight was purely for the food.

It’s hard to miss Barrybran while he stands on top of the Gumbies table gyrating “THIS S**T IS RIGGED!” he bellows while letting fly with a karate kick that almost connects with GWS Goose

The slurred shrieks of por_please_ya cut through the deep bellows like a hot knife through an innocent villagers kidney. “WHAT?! DP FINISHED 9th?! She shoulda been first! We’re proud of you DP!”

But these nay sayers are quickly drowned out by the elation and celebration coming from the Warriors tables in attendance. They had a feeling their boy was a chance, and they have turned up en-masse! Strongest voice of all is the Warriors captain, Tonga Bob ... “You deserve every success thrown your way Ocha905 !! You have single handedly restored credibility to the Rising Star awards. Mazel tov brother!”

Ocha905’s teammate FootyGuy13 yells out a crude joke about a dog and Mitch Edwards, but he’s quickly silenced by the team all rushing the stage to celebrate with their prized Rookie Ocha905!
