Good evening all,

Welcome to the Season 37 All-SFA Announcement.

The All-SFA has long been an award used to honour the best performers of the season across the board in both Qooty and posting contributions. It is an award selected by a rigorous nomination process where 13 of the finest minds in the league as representatives of their clubs engage in robust debate in regards to who makes the best quality posts that enhance the experience of all in the league, and balances it with a consideration of who has performed well on the Qooty field in their respective positions. This is then all put together into a blender and here's the result. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the night.

This is a prestigious honour, and to be selected in the All-SFA team means you are truly among the elite echelons of the league as an exponent of what all rookies should aspire to be.

Have fun everyone!

Welcome all to the Season 37 ALL-SFA Awards
Your Committee members have been long discussing their nominations in the Committee, arguing over stats, performance, popularity, posting and all things that get assessed. Of course, the Sweet FA Committee representatives fail to recognise their incredibly high conflict of interest and so when all fail to acknowledge it, it actually works out to be somewhat just and fair. This team to be presented tonight will be the culmination of those discussions and an overarching outcome of decisions for the final positions in the team.

We congratulate all teams on a fantastic season and to all nominees, good luck.

serial_thrilla – one of the league’s most creative media personalities and Dragons die-hard, Serial takes out the back pocket spot in this season’s All-SFA. At the conclusion of the home and away season, Serial played all 16 games in the backline for his beloved Dragons, averaging 64 posts per game to match his 13.5 disposals, 3.5 marks average. Consistently brilliant, well done Serial on your fifth All-SFA selection.

Wosh – as elegant as ever, graceful in flight, Wosh takes out the Full Back honours for Season 37 with a mighty performance for the Mt Buller Demons. Though Wosh played 3 of her games in the midfield, it was the backline where Wosh dominated the league averaging 8.5 disposals, 3 marks per game in the backline as well as a dominant 66.5 posts per match. The league is better with Wosh in full flight like she is, well done Wosh on your 6th All-SFA Selection.

James Colorado – The quiet achiever James Colorado. For a Fury, it’s a blessing that he’s the way that he is, quietly going about his own business and never seeming to cause much ruckus. One would ever wonder if James was truly a Fury as he just seems to be cut from a different cloth to the rest of them most of the time – a shining light. James’ season proved brilliant across the backline, averaging 15 disposals per game and 4.5 marks to match, as well as 42 posts per game – consistent performer is James’. Though he only played 15 games, the week off does not see him ineligible to be awarded his 2nd All-SFA selection in Sweet FA history, well done James.

Wosh solid as a rock this season. 👏

Reports coming in suggest nearly a dozen people know this is happening right now.
This is what happens when Sweet-FA isn't given prior notice. I wouldn't even be on right now if I had something to do on a Wednesday night...

Falconista – Gumbies leader and fast-becoming league legend, Falconista earns his first All-SFA accolade to his growing list of recognitions after an impressive Season 37 across the backline. That’s right, we have our first All-SFA virginity broken tonight and no better person to receive the honours than Falcon. His season saw the Gumbies make it all the way to the Finals – that’s right, the Gumbies, in the Finals. He almost gets in alone on that but we must acknowledge his own personal performance this season and the incredibly all-round performance, averaging 36.5 posts per game, 13.5 disposals, 4 marks and a cheeky 4 total goals to match – not bad for a dashing defender. Well done Falcon!

kenneyswarriors – There don’t come many more sturdy half-backs in the competition than Kenney and this season saw Kenney take his game to a whole new level. 16 disposals per game, even managed to snap himself a few hitouts in the process, 3 goals all the while laying a whopping 28 tackles, averaged 5 marks per game and with posting numbers of 85 per game, it’s hard to overlook Kenney this season for the All-SFA and again, it’s a first for Kenneys – congratulations on the inaugural All-SFA nomination mate.

tony – As luck would have it, two relatively noobs in the ranks of All-SFA need to be flanked by a fast-becoming consistent performer such as Tony. I say consistent, and then track record suggests that even though this is his fourth All-SFA honour, he’s still yet to be able to go back to back in any of them. This season, the big fella had 30 posts per game, 14.5 disposal, 4.5 marks and was able to sneak forward a couple of times when the team needed it. Well done on number 4 Tony!
