The posting of Okeydoke7’s CV has this evening been delayed indefinitely following a lawsuit lodged by Sweet FA immortals.

The immortals, one step up from regular hall of famers, have banded together to oppose the publishing of the CV following their review of an advance copy.

It is understood that the immortals were so blown away by the achievements listed that they lodged a lawsuit to buy more time to review the claims made on the CV. It would be impossible, the league legends say, for everything on the CV to be true as the achievements far outweigh their own despite Okeydoke7 not yet being made an immortal.

I am apalled by the actions of our league’s immortals in the lead up to the Grand Final. Though I undoubtedly deserve to stand amongst them, challenging the publishing of my CV due to jealousy is unprecedented and is a disgraceful act.

The posting of my CV, something I was known more for many many years, has been a rare beast in recent years. For the first time this season, in the lead up to the biggest game of the year, I planned to treat my fans and sponsors with one mega post CV for them to feast over.

To have run into so many hurdles along the way has been disappointing. This has caused me much distraction in the lead up to the Grand Final. My record amount of goals for a Grand Final and my Deestroy Medal will put that to bed quickly.

I still plan to fight this lawsuit and will be seeking an urgent hearing to ensure my CV is published prior to the big game.

I apologise to my friends, fans, sponsors and admirers for the delay.
