What made you decide to crawl from under your rock?

It was more coming down from my ivory tower.
The main reason is that associating with the less fortunate gives me a warm sense of superiority.
I kinda like it.
Same reason I occasionally give a few bucks to charity (no not the stripper who works with your sister) in a very public manner.

I'm GC born but my folks decided to return to G-town when I was 4.5yrs old - as adamant as I was as a kid that at the first opportunity available I'd return to the GC, I became a teenager that spent a few weeks there every summer with family who still lived there wasn't that was enough to say nope to a permanent move.. Didn't care for summer in that heat

My cousin who herself was GC born & raised, moved down to Melbourne with her daughter in about 2012 - she spent a decade down here, never really got used to our winters and returned to Brisbane a couple of years ago

She's very happy back in the warmer weather

Im sure the Series will touch on my exploits in the marathon.
Mostly it will focus on the corruption of the All SFA selection committee and specifically the crimes in continuously omitting me from the squad.
Unfortunately Alan Rickman passed away, he'd have been perfect to play the role of serial_thrilla , rumour has it that Kevin Spacey will play the role. I imagine playing Frank Underwood would be perfect preparation.

You and I have bigger issues than random companies rebranding.

I was much more put out by the Washington Redskins renaming to the ‘Football Team’ for two years instead of picking a real name

I'm not sure why some think rebranding is some new "woke" thing, companies have always rebranded product names - I feel like some of the most vocal complaining about it being "woke" are from my age group where we went through the rebranding of '****' to 'Fads' and the red tip removed so that were simply white sugar sticks

We all survived that change, so I'm pretty sure we can all survive Redskins becoming Red Ripperz, or Chicos to Cheekies


Totally agree about the Washington Redskins football team - all good to say you're changing your name, but at least have a new bloody name before getting rid of the old one. The NFL should have stopped them from playing until they had a real name

Haha it’s funny how different my clients are. This next property I walk in and the air con is so cold it’s like ice and she’s a sweet only little lady and says just help your self to the icy poles in the freezer… I know you like them!
