There are 11 other clubs that will miss out altogether. They can cry about it quietly, it takes as much effort to lose this convincingly without being investigated as it does to win.

I don't mind tipping in the cases of exceptional service and in the right venue, but am glad it's not the norm over here

I do get a laugh though when ordering via the QR code at venues and when paying it asks about leaving a tip... Who exactly am I tipping in that situation

I'm with you there, I like having a bit of influence on servers and the like.

But bribery culture is nuts here, even take-out places now include a tip suggestion line on payment slips and POS terminals. For what, exactly? Your walking my package from the kitchen to the counter?

TBH, I never tipped in those situations, until the COVID lockdowns. I'll still tip in those cases at places I really like.
