Now that is a good trade. You must have had to add something good to get the other guy to agree.
Got his first jab last week apparently - was quiet about it but was recognised. If Lamar doesnt get covid 6 times throughout the season
well that frees up an hour on my time tonight thenIf anyone is a glutton for punishment apparently on Fox Footy 360/Couch tonight they are doing a "deep dive" into our horror 24 hours of losing the game and potentially losing Lachie. Can't wait!
What do u think is going thru the minds of the umpires not at that game but watching it on TV.......are they thinking this is Sh#ite or are they saying how good it is seeing Robbo nearly killed and we didnt free him? Will they text them and say great game guys or will they call them out?If you wanted an impartial opinion the last person you would ask is an umpire.
We saw their neutral opinion on Saturday night
Finally some airtime, just like Carlton! May be they should concentrate on the remaining four teams...If anyone is a glutton for punishment apparently on Fox Footy 360/Couch tonight they are doing a "deep dive" into our horror 24 hours of losing the game and potentially losing Lachie. Can't wait!
Yeah but don't let the medias narrative get in the way of a good story.Heard alot after the game about the bulldogs fight and bravery to win this game. Gonna post this without one mention of any umpire calls. As the dust has settled abit and more time to think about it how about abit of praise for our mighty lions willing to fight and our bravery right to the end as well. For gods sake we did not have Hipwood, Rayner, Mcstay and then Payne gone in second quarter, forward line stuffed. Andrews on one leg and Gardiner's shoulder hanging by a thread, Late in the game down by 7 points and thinking we are gone. What about our guts and determination to be so undermanned and get back to level again. So heartbreaking in our lounge room when the siren went to see our 19 year old daughter just burst into tears. Love the passion my family have for our footy club and not one bit of it is lost from our GUTSY performance on Saturday night. I know other people may have a different view but bulldogs are the only ones who have had the label as what a gutsy performance and win. Our boys showed plenty of guts as well and so undermanned at the same time.
Can't wait for the 4 foxfooty stories written up that are just a transcript of the shows, minus all of Browny's ums and ahs.
yeah thanks for all that.At the end of every game, as a poster on Bigfooty one of 3 things happen:
1. Happy with the umpiring, as the team you wanted to win won. Laugh at people complaining about umpiring on Bigfooty.
2. Unhappy with the umpiring as the team you wanted to win lost. Complain about umpires on Bigfooty.
3. Realise that both teams supporters WILL be unhappy with the umpiring. Both teams will find multiple instances of injustice. Instead, be Happy to have watched a good game of football.
The media make umpiring the scapegoat, as actual game analysis in Australia is exceptionally poor. So they blame umpires to get more clicks. Being an umpire is a sh!t job, constant criticism, even when elite at your job. IF neither team is happy with your performance, you have probably done a good job.

I think fair-minded neutrals do indeed support whoever is playing the Bulldogs.I think there is also bias against the Dogs by neutrals for their perceived (rightly imo) throwing, and also the absolute sham that is the 2016 final.
The Rhys stuff is quite funny really. I always thought the barometer was first said by fages during a mid-week interview, then in commentary they casually said it then Matho himself finally said it. Then it became a caricature. You've also got to think about how our perception of him differs from other fans. Some people gave a lot of hate for Weightman playing the umpires, but all he did was just do what Matho does but be a better player. All oppo players aren't really that bad.. except Toby Green and Jeremy Cameron. Hate them both
20 stitches, so there will be some kinda scar, not sure how cool it might be thoughHopefully he gets a cool scar out of it.
