I'd rather this then get shafted.

Faf-off mate! Here here, its lame that supporters can backstab a player from their club who has given them so much. Tis funny they would have been cheering for him earilier in the season. Show some respect
How?If my understanding of that richmond deal is correct (richmond pay overprice for mitch morton on the guarantee that we'll send judd into the pre-season draft), why has no one raised the possibility that such an agreement may be blatantly against trading rules?
You guys are F...n ridiculous. As if we would give you thomas or pendlebury for Chris judd. It's like giving up a gun at 20 for someone who has already achieved the ultimate and he has served you well, after all,he is a victorian he has served your side admirably so the guy wants to go home.Collingwood need a gun ,midfilder you guys need a big forward. So our pick 14 and say a josh fraser would more than ample trade. If not carlton can have him we'll recuite a good midfelder or two next year and we;ll win the flag in the next 2 years anyway. What let us down this year was our rucks otherwise we would be playing port this week.F...k you guys are so jealous, really it's not like he is still under contract,he has finished his tenure with the eagles and wants to come home.I really hope he goes into the draft and goes to carlton and you guys get zip for him.
Chris judd owes the eagles nothing....he has done his time there.
And collingwood will continue on our merry way and stick to our youth policy and pick up a few more midfielders next year and get another ruckman and we will be ready to kill for the premiership in 2008/2009.
Remember Nick Stevens?
Nick was vice-captain at Port Adelaide and wanted to return back to Victoria. Nick said that he wanted to go play for Collingwood, Mark Williams said he can take his chances in the PSD. Nick ended up at Carlton.
Nick hasn't played in finals since and Port Adelaide are playing off for their 2nd Premiership this week. There is a moral to this story.
Nick Stevens was a B+ midfielder. Judd's the best player in the comp. Losing one for nothing is gonna hurt much more than losing the other for nothing.
That's the moral to the story.
He deserves it.
Think how satisfying it would be to watch Juddas battle through next year in a bottom 4 side. He'd get triple-teamed every week and get the living suitcases belted out of him. There'd be no-one else to draw a tag. No-one to block for him. No-one to protect him.
It would send a powerful message: if a player walks and nominates one club, this is what happens to you. I wonder how Paul Connors would like that.
There would be the added bonus of shafting Collingwood and watching them gnash their teeth over missing another gun player because they were too pig-headed to offer a decent trade.
Also, I don't think we would have to lose Juddas to Richmond for nothing. We have a ready-made Veale deal already in the works.
If Juddas' chosen club has offered us nothing decent by the fourth day of trade week, we send Mitch Morton to Richmond for picks 2 and 17 (and maybe a player) and we make sure Juddas ends up in the PSD.
Send Juddas to Richmond.

Hahahahaha.....bitter much Longshanks???? I'll be happy if we get Judd but don't care if we don't.....as long as we keep pick 2.
The deal be:-
Nathan Brown (Mitch's brother), one of Reid/Dawes/Rusling, plus pick 14.
West Coast aren't worried about this years draft which is only ordinary.
They want the picks of last years Super Draft.
He is not bigger than the game itself. Let him rot in Richmond.
Mate we've already "lost" him.
Most of us have hurt enough and are prepared to see him in the good old yellow and black then accept Pick 65 and Joe Bloggs from Ballarat.
Thats our "story". I stand by it.
**** ----.
The moral of the story is that the team is always greater than the individual. Port Adelaide > Nick Stevens
Juddy will also find out the hard way that the grass is not always greener on the other side.
