You know, you're about 100 times better at posts on tactics. Your heart's just not in this player sponsorship thing.

Haha probably.

There is only so much that can be done that remains in the bounds of credibility when you receive pick 39 and take Rotham.

Richmond injury list on 9/4

Best 22 missing -
Grimes (wasn’t named in the 26 man squad)
Hopper
Prestia
Balta
Lynch
Gibcus
Ross (not on the injury list but was an out injured when team was named)

That’s 7 definite best 22 (at least 4 would be top 10) missing plus potentially Taranto so it’s a fair bit of quality missing. Don’t know enough about Richmond’s list to know if any of the others would be considered best 22

By comparison from our best 22 we’re missing -
Allen
Ryan
Flynn
Sheed
Hewett

Less quantity (5 v 7 or 8) and less quality missing for us as I’d only have Allen in our top 10

With Taranto, Prestia and Hopper missing from their starting midfield it evens things up substantially

No excuses for anything other than a very competitive showing from us. A loss by any more than 2 or 3 goals would be disappointing

Interesting still not confident but if he misses it does help.

Very interesting.

With others missing from Richmond's midfield, Taranto is currently responsible for 1 in 9 of their total contested possessions for the season, and 1 in 4 of their total clearances.

Will be significant if he misses.

Simmo - 'Darling has been making the effort, he just needs to be rewarded for it with a couple of easy goals'...?
Need Darling to find his mojo this Sunday (and a few others) and kick some easy goals, hard goals, curly goals, any goals...
The Tigers are pumped, the Eagles are pumped, should be a cracker game!

Its all setup for a rare Eagles win. Can't believe we are still big outsiders.
Tigers injury list, home ground advantage and an improved performance last week has me optmistic of a good game.
Taranto out helps as well.

After two wins at home in 2 years and none for over a year I'd love to see a win on Sunday.

Cmon boys don't get my hopes up for nothing

I think you’ve cracked why we are still big outsiders mate - don’t get those hopes too high and shoot for a competitive effort - this time is still a way off actually winning I think.

Imagine getting an injury, walling into an immediate scan, then getting surgery that same arvo.

*en nice for some.

Amateurs.

Put him in the wrist equivalent of a moonboot (a sling I guess?) for 6 weeks and then send him to Melbourne to meet with Australia’s top wrist motion expert for a 10 week program of wrist strengthening exercises.

Then surgery.

Darlings effort was there last week, tackles and even flying for marks!!
