hi im trying to find out where ex afl players go after they are off afl list . so im looking to know if any ex afl listed or rookie players are playing in your competition? hopefully someone can help me

Tim Rasmussen (Hawthorn) is at South Yarra - not sure if he played seniors at Hawthorn though??

Does anyone know of any comings or goings from around the clubs?
I reckon Div 2 will be very strong this year fo what it is worth. Heard that Issaccs andhis mate were off to OD but have changed there mind and have gone back to the Hammers. Sth Yarra have lost a few and cant be great if they do not have a coach yet. OD have had a few walk out with The 'fearless one' Pitts and Steve Wright was furious so much so that he penned an open letter to all players and supporters detailing what went on. Skye have lost Doyle (Up bush) Fox (Frankston) but have picked up Tucker (Heatherton Onballer) Kitchin (Ruckman Tooradin) Abella (CHF from St Johns) and a bloke from Keysie that has kicked quite a few goals, an ex SFL coach will also play there. Also heard from them that a few old faces have returned. Coaching staff are very pleased with where they are at.

Rasmussen trained Wednesday night at sth yarra but too busy to coach we have lost a few players due to old age and a few that got big offers from other clubs. It didn't help that a coach accepted the role but quit 3 weeks later and the new coach wasnt appointed until 2 weeks ago but sth yarra will be there having a crack against springvale round 1

Are the rats abbandoning the ship TOONS?! Huge rumblings from BR pre season last year with very little action. Have'nt heard much this year, should we be worried?

Also, anybody heard of the Boags' Lighting Premiership? Apparently a rapid-fire round-robin comp (played over a day early next month) pitting the premiers of each local comp against each other. Hard to measure the exact quality of footy in other leagues, but as a hypothetical, how would the better teams of Div1 SFL fare against the supposedly superior teams from EFL, NFL, EDFL??

Nah... While we the Heights did beat them in the semi, they're far to strong when they get their full team, which is their 1sts, up and running.

Highett actually should've beaten them in the Prelim... As they say in the classics..THEY WAS ROBBED!

Is the forward from keysie Freeman?

Freeman is a winger. Good pace, good skills, can kick a goal. Was a MPNFL interleague squad member in 2010. Was injured last year - work related - and missed the whole year. Something to do with his arm from memory.

Yep we played in it last year, it was a good day and something a bit different.
As far as your last question goes there is still a fair gap between those leagues and Divvy 1 SFL.

intersesting to see some of the clearences from d2 clubs. oakleigh seem to have picked up a few handy recruits in isaccs, arvanitis, margetis and danilovic. but loosing fermanis, hodic, pitts and rumor to be a couple more (kiellerup and elimovski) really hurts. bentleigh loosing their goal kicker (friedman) to dingley, other then that havent heard much from the runners up last year. how are they going to go this year?? pretty keen to see what all the rumbling is out of skye, apparently travelling very well at the present. anyone out there from the dragons want to jump on and fill us in with how their pre season is going?? AND still nothing from anyone from blackrock.. unusually quiet for this time of year!
