Hang on, now you know for a fact? Previous post you said 'you don't have anything to do with the club'

Thinking maybe you change your name to Purple lol because Damien you sir, talk a lot of shit...or maybe your just related to Bounceback... which is it?
Not sure why you are referencing me all the time, think you need to grow up.

And you are having a crack at someone about clubs so we can refer back to this then.
Played E/HILLS today. DEVASTATING
Mate, don't know where this rabble club found these players they should've beat us by another 10 goals. It's a long season & had a few out. Hills No thirds either apparently, on the up is what I'd say......will play finals
Hallam losing by 15 goals haha now 0-18 that's a great prediction

What are the plans for Sandown next year Cobra? I mean that post and you Cobra status surely u from Sandown, surely...

Well in that case they may offer incentives, wouldnt think it would be enough to compete with local clubs with a lot of money buying their young talent though
How many of the 2/3rds of another club are playing 1s? Surely they wouldnt be getting incentives in reserves as well for such a new club

Having a full set of juniors and 19's puts them above everyone else that doesn't... other clubs have to spend money to recruit unless blokes bring their mates...
and I don't think cranny would be interested in every single kid that's coming out of the 19's...
even if Lyndhurst keep 5 of their 19's players and the rest leave they're still doing better than most other clubs... getting young blokes is extremely hard

They have got the ideal location as well, with good facilities but even more importantly a growing area with a lot of surrounding land still yet to be turned residential, so a growing community which not many other teams have
What other teams in div 3 have a juniors and has it helped them much?

Skye and they won the flag a while back, now playing finals in div 2 consistently

How long did it take them to win the flag? From what ive heard Lynd have started better than Hallam at the same stage, but personally think Hallam have recruited brilliantly and are gauranteed the flag this year imo, hasnt taken them too long to be a powerhouse, only in div 3 obviously though

Skye won a flag within about 4 years of starting I believe. It's been a much slower build up for Hallam.

Guaranteed flag?? yeah nah, don't think so dig

Went 2 lyndhurst dandy game, 2 dandy players and 2 lynd players sent off, didnt seem to be a whole lot in it and looked like the ump jst pickd cooke to set an example as a lot of other players were involved, a member of dandys bench also evicted and disgustig 2 see the dandy runner get involved in the fight without consequence, and then later hurling abuse to lynd players while running out msgs without being provoked
Lyndhurst looked disinterested at times and conditions were dreadful with that wind, definitely a better side thn they showd
For someone who says they were at the game doesn't know a lot. 1 dandy player got sent off, 2 Lyndhurst. The stuff from the members of the bench was because the assistant coach said he would kill the full forward of dandy after the game. Please tell me you wouldn't stick up for your mate if someone threatened them like that. The dandy runner did not say a word to any players, not sure where you got that information from. Also Lyndhurst were selling raffle tickets at dandy venue and were caught bringing their own alcohol. What a club hey

Selling own raffle tickets??? haha who's poor decision was that, unless for a charity

As for alcohol, the prices that some of the clubs are charging is ridiculous lol, probably why people are bringing in grog. Here's a tip ' you'll sell more for less' Hills prices are $4/$6 beer & spirits, never sold more!!!! Paid $6.50 for a beer the other week... disgusting lol

Did Cooke end up getting suspended?

Hi All,

Long time reader, first time poster here.
Just wanted to say I love the occasional banter in here, makes it that little bit exciting throughout the year.

After playing everyone at least once, I can confidently say this is one of the most even seasons in terms of 'Who has a real genuine chance'.

Previous seasons there has always been that standout team, but in my honest opinion the current top 6 teams can beat each other on their day. The team who finish 6th will be very unlucky.

If I were a betting company, I'd put the following odds

Hallam @ $3 - They have beaten all the top teams except for the falcons. Have real good depth as well. Their reserves being on top proves that.

Endeavour @ $3.50 - Have beaten Hallam twice and have great depth. Reserves 3rd on the ladder.

Ashwood, Doveton, South Yarra and Black Rock @ $4 -

Ashwood have slid downhill after a spectacular start, but will be right up there come finals. Is it injuries? Or just form?

Doveton - Are up and down, like everyone they can beat anyone on their day. They will be very dangerous, especially with Russell playing finals (that's what I've been told). Only concern is their depth, compared to the other top teams I don't think they have enough. I'm actually surprised they have a couple really good players in the 2s that could definately play in the 1s. What's going on there?

South Yarra - Can take it up with anyone @ their home, have a good ressies side as well who can cover injuries etc Not taking anything away from them, but I think big grounds do not suit their style.

Black Rock- The big improvers who also have good depth as their ressies are 2nd. I wouldn't be surprised if they win the flag from finishing 5th. Young quick side.

Also to the lyndale boys, I've noticed some of the big names have been out for weeks, are they on holidays or just unlucky injuries?

Good luck to all, it has been a pleasure to compete in this sort of season.

Cheers.

Nah not for charity, just ya standard raffle to make money for their club.

Agree with some clubs prices. $5 for beer most spirts $6, don't think that's unreasonable for a club. The people caught apparently were former Dandenong players too, shows the respect some have!

Believe it ws just an inhouse raffle for lynd people, were any dande supporters/members askd to buy anything or put in?

Poor form. You buy the home teams raffle tickets. Bringing your own alcohol is not on either. I'm sure those in charge at Lyndhurst would not be giving that the thumbs up

A couple of years back in a different league, A club was exposed selling tickets on the Thursday night of away matches.
They then proceeded to bring in a couple of car boots full of grog on the Saturday of these away games, Normally parked on the other side of the ground.
These tickets were then transferable for the grog, So no money was "changing hands" so to speak

Wow. That's a new low.

A couple of years back we had a team bring their own slabs and ask us to keep them cold in the fridge for them.
