Two games clear in the top 4 in round 15 though is way off where many people had them. 3 wins in a row in finals, and the flag is anyones.

I can see why you might be so dismissive, however...

Essendon will win a premiership before Fremantle next play in a final.

Hopefully things can turn around for us the way they have at Freo.

Fremantle has a very good bunch of young player that "Could" develop into a very good side so of course they may win a flag before us but it is specualtion and opinion only.

First of all Fremantle have to stop being the usual Fremantle and start showing some consistancy from year to year.
It is an intersting talking point as i think that the Dockers have just managed to get enough good young players onto their list to make them a decent side and they will not have to rely heavily on the next few drafts to make something happen.

Yeah, in all seriousness, I got a text from a mate who's reasonably well connected that said Knights wants to trade Stants and Lovett. My reaction was no deal for Stants, but I'd definitely consider the right trade for Lovett.

Squibbing two contests to the level that Gibbs did against Milne in as many weeks is appalling.

It went like this

F: Gumbelton, Neagle, Dyson
R: Laycock, Winderlich, Jetta
Int: Houli, Hocking, Lonergan, Chartres, McKinnon

Wouldn;t say it's a great prediction.

Not too many though I'd say. Sheedy would have known there would be players who wouldn't make it that would be replaced by draft picks from 2007-10 drafts, so you take out Lee, Dick, Chartres, Mckinnon and replace them with our first/second rounders, its plausible that it would resemble something similar to what our side could be now. He wasn't to know of Laycock/Johns' injuries and would have hoped in 07 that they'd make it.

Think a few posters owe Sheeds an apology. Whilst the Dockers may not win a flag, they are certainly up there contending before us.
