Showdown 45 looks set to be a big one. Port are attempting to secure a Top 8 or possibly even a Top 4 spot, while the Crows season may be very close to over, they’d love to put a huge dent in Port’s chances so we can expect a very hot and fierce contest, even better with the ledger all square at 22-22.

Brodie Smith returning from injury to play his first game in 331 days is a terrific story. Good on the lad. Yeah

Can Port clean sweep the Crows for Season 2018, or will the Crows get revenge for “flashpoint! Stevie Motlop...what a time!” and keep their slim finals hopes alive?

Until then, please enjoy this :)

What a defining moment in both teams season... Motlop will burn up the track come September. I still think we can go all the way ... just need ALL players in form.

As a dirty little sniper dropping knees into opponents when they're on the ground a special quality of his
perfected from lots of practice.
Don't be too harsh on Douglas. He did play a pivotal role in that Motlop goal.

One of the greatest things of playing away is being able to score and enjoy the deafening silence coming suddenly from the stands; but against West Lakes, you score and... nothing changes.

All year i've been waiting for us to click, and click good all year. Did we show signs last week? The coaches said they saw really good signs against GWS, perhaps this is the week, it feels like it to me I just want to see it. Interesting it has come about when the Crows seem to be the favourite, just how the Port of old used to like it.

Love that people are frothing about Jonas saying "we hate the Crows", meanwhile a few years back.....

What do they honestly want to hear? That he likes them?

At least we’re up front and open about how much we hate them, and don’t resort to sly, underhanded acts such as covering their race with black plastic for our home showdown....or fly a plane over Adelaide Oval during the first AO showdown pulling a sign that says “Our Home Ground”....

They were advertising so their supporters wouldn't go to Footy Park instead.

neade doesnt get enough love in that goal. strength to hold the crows player out and make a contest was second to none

Then the ball spilled out to another favourite Port “whipping boy” by the name of Sammie Gray who laid off a sublime handball to a rampant Steven Motlop. The result the winning goal!

Said Crows defender Nigel Smart during a radio interview ahead of the long-awaited re-match, "We just want to get into them and bash them".

Which would explain why Bickley shattered Wakelin's face.

But nah, "wharfie thugs", etc.
