Crouch and Sloane in the midfield fills me with no confidence. If we can sub one of these off at the earliest opportunity we stand a chance. I presume Soligo is the sub.

Crows to lose every cba but will rebound from the back lines with enough force to give port whiplash. Our outside runners to feed our forwards lace out all night long. Crows by 32.
It’s the only reason I can come up with for having the slowest mid in vfl/ sanfll/ wafl/afl/ Ireland history.

Only fog cloud. Will burn off and dry out. Should be good conditions for footy and viewing the game.
Fog cloud? Is it a sign from the footy gods?

Wonder if this part of the reason we looked sluggish against gws.

Hopefully we’ve had it and recovered fully
We’ve had it the last 3 years against them.

Still so devastated about the injuries from last week, they’re just too significant to overcome for me. We need our younger players to really embrace the showdown spectacle and play out of their skin if we’re any chance tonight.

That whole flu thing helps us out a fraction I guess but could be way overblown, we’ll find out.

With Rankine and Rach out IDGAF if instruction or instinct for the next few games is just get it to Tex, with the rest of our forwards creating contests and basically acting as decoys to mess with defensive structure. Would rather not be saying that as I’d like to see Fog or Thilly step up big time.

All this is assuming our midfield are even capable of delivering it inside our F50. Haven’t been wise or creative at all with our rotations both at selection and in-game and if they’re incapable of recognising that by now we’re toast. Also nervous about the Dawson tag.

And with a far less intimidating opponent ROB really should be making himself useful around the ground.

I worry that we’re gonna get smashed tonight. Port need to win and maintain/build percentage whilst the long season is taking its toll on us as fitness and form mean we’re looking weaker than we have for some time. Buckle up it could get bumpy!

I’ll be losses off if we get smashed in a home showdown

We should be as motivated as Port, or even more

I think the whole flu thing is a fantasy. Sure, some of the boys might have have had it but unless they've got full on flu now it's just more bullshittery coming from Port. Tredrea on 5AA said it won't be a problem.

Sure enough they will use it as an excuse if they lose.
