Sort of. The caper is about either getting the pill to a team mate or at least placing it to advantage.It's not necessarily inaccurate. His disposal lets him down, and at times is a massive weakness.
He's also got to turn up in finals and not disappear without a trace when the heat goes on.

A classic at the weekend was when he had clear separation on an opponent at a centre bounce. Had time to at least place the pill to advantage but just slammed in on the boot. Good fortune favoured him as it virtually fell into the lap of Dahlhaus. Could just as easily gone to one of the GWS players who were right there, swept away giving the GWS another look. Happens way too often.
He May have played his last game for GeelongAnd it was very noticeable that Ablett despite his age is still by far the most astute user of the ball we have. May not be the best athlete in the team, but he's by a long, long way the best footballer.
