Sainters!
Sheedy may soon be facing the sack at this rate. The bombers are struggling, Sheedy has no option but to flood these days, Lloyd gone for the season. Having to recruit Carlton rejects like Campo and Murphy to try and make the Essendon midfield competetive compounds Essendons woes further as that stops a young kid from developing in the middle. The biggest problem however is Fletcher, with his vast amounts of experience, one would expect him to nullify the oppositions best forward but week in, week out he's being beaten by sub standard forwards so it could just about be time for this useless hack to retire.

Very dark times ahead for the bombers it seems.

On a brighter note, the pies a flying, all hail Rocca!!

Should be a cosy training drill for the pies, a nice workout in preperation for round 5.

:)

I reckon we'll lose by 700 points.
Sheedy will be lynched, the players shot.

The club will sell all its assets and reform as a grass roots club in the Essendon District Football League B Grade competition as 'The Club Formally Known As Essendon.'

We'll be forced to wear an alternative strip because of the clash with Pascoe Vale FC.

We'll do our recruiting purely from the Carlton Football Club Past Players function.

But after finishing the season without a win, the club will fold and cease to exist in any format.

Stupid Thread.

But, there is a positive. If any supporters are good at seeing dark times ahead for teams, then it's St Kilda fans.
Theyv'e had plenty of practice.

Yes, can always teach us how to deal with it because god knows we have no idea how to :thumbsu:

Yeah Stupid thread,

Its going to be an even game, and never write off the bombers on anzac day with James Hird, besides essendon should see this as an opportunity for someone else to step up. I think maybe a few rough patches ahead but not totally dark.

I would never write off either side on any Anzac Day

Wish I had a dollar for every time I've heard that over the years.

I think the Pies will win, they are looking terrific IMO, as I thought they might given a decent run with injuries. The Bombers aren't at all without a chance though, are a proud club and always seem to rise for these big Anzac Day clashes. Pies by 11 points.

Forecast for Tuesday
Fine apart from morning fog patches. Becoming mainly sunny. Light winds.

Precis: Early fog then fine.
City: Min 9 Max 20

At least it wont be arctic like a few have, as I'm going this year, but I'd like our chances better if it was torrential rain. Pies by a few, unfortunately.

a very, VERY poor mans parrot

Being a one eyed magpie......I cant wait for tommorows game. I look at the collingwood team and think that is a bloody good team, u have to be at ur best beat that. BUT...........

When u play a team that has a man named James Hird in it, and ur playing on Anzac Day, then be careful. I believe James Hird can kick 5 goals and replace a Matthew Lloyd. So collingwood fans dont get to excited with lloyd's absence, because James will be there to try and spoil the party.

Come on Jimmy Clement, smash the blond pretty boy!!!

If the Bombers can get up and win tommorow, most people seem to think it's utterly impossible - a lot of people with short memories I guess, we are going to get some ripper threads like this one revisited that have surfaced over the past week. And will the instigators to the Bomber bashing threads face up after a win? Like usual, probably not... but sometimes silence is golden.

Go Dons.
