I dont know if Abbott will be picked up.
Freo haven't shown any interest in him, and WCE have cooled a bit since he injured his leg.
WCE is probably the only club that will draft him, and I think they may go Markov or Shane Yarran instead.
WCE only have one rookie pick so he may have to wait for next years draft.

Ok , has does the next round proceed (rookie draft , preseason draft) is there a selection order & if so what is it please. If no order and names tabled, what happens if two clubs want to Rookie the same player.

PSD is in the reverse order of the ladder and you cannot trade picks. The AFL will announce the teams that can use PSD picks after final list lodgements and knowing what they can fit in their salary caps. Only ex-players who have left their club and are not free agents can enter the PSD so there will probably be very few picks here. Sometimes clubs will take another kid here who was overlooked in the draft, but if they do then they get a 2 year contract on a senior list, not a 1 year contract on the rookie list. So this only happens if a club wants to get in early if they think they'll be taken before their first rookie pick.

Rookie draft is for more speculative selections. Like the PSD it is in reverse ladder order and you cannot trade picks. The AFL will announce the order later on once they know how many rookie spots each team has to fill. Each player taken in this draft only gets a 1 year contract, but clubs can elevate players off this list to cover for injury or if they don't have the full amount of senior players on their list (38+6, 39+5 or 40+4). For example Richmond now has 39 players on its senior list and retains Matt Thomas as a rookie. This means we have 4 picks in the rookie draft, but one will be kept to rookie Matt Arnott who we delisted while still contracted.

Obviously Tutt to Carlton is locked in. But besides from that who has room on their list and how likely are they to use it instead of grabbing the extra rookie?
