bad prog rock was horrendous. ELP, Mike Oldfield, King Crimson. Prog rock revolted John Rotten & Jello Biafra to start the music they did.

holiday in cambodia has some great guitar. Steve Jones was not a bad song writer, Lydon great lyricist.

A good portion of 70s prog is the best rock ever done
. There’s some that is annoying or just outdated but i don’t really enjoy that stuff. I like the first elp album but they did gradually become cheesy after that. Crimson had some great stuff but hit and miss. Floyd were pretty mellow. I mainly like obscured by clouds, animals and saucerful. Prog related rock is the best. Don’t like simple stuff but not over done stuff either. I like it just right. Good production is critical also. Prog related music. It’s all about the smart melody
