if Hammers had real heart they wud go up to div2 in place of da side they embarrassed last week. flat track bullies is all they be. beaten a side who r desperate 4 playerz n face da very real possiblity of not fieldin 2 sides this yr. Hammers have no ticker n dat will b proven again dis year or next when it gets abit tough for em n dey all go missing. same happened after they won div3 flag 02. All hung round 4 a solid season in 03 den turned to shit cos none of em like it when dey don’t have it on ezy street.

I am sure that if Moorabbin were on the brink of folding and the only way for them to survive was to go to Div 3 then the league would step in and ask Hampton to remain in Div 2.

I am sure that Hampton would prefer to stay in Div 2 rather than play in Div 3

Bit harsh having a crack at Hampton when none of this has occurred !

Get it Right !!!!:D

So whats everyones tips for the weekend? My tips are

Cerberus over Sandown by 8 points
Doveton over Dandy by 10 goals
Mount Waverley over Southern Dragons by 15 goals
Skye over Hampton by 5 goals

Some might not agree with my tips.

Other than your obvious struggle with the english language you also show your massive lack of knowledge. The Kangas made the finals in DIV 2 with the same team as they won the flag with. Players left because they had a coach / president change as well as a few boys went chasing coin from the country leagues. Keep posting dribble, it entertains me.

Any surprises from round 1??

Expected Sandown to win by a bit more. Have I overestimated their recruits, or underestimated Ceberus? Judging by the 2's score I think the former.

Not at all surprised by the Doveton score.

Probably expected Hampton to win by a little bit more, but only 2 goals or so.

Dragons looked quite good. If they could kick for goal a bit better they would have had us on the ropes. Scoring shots about equal all the way up to 3 quarter time where the scoreboard pressure got a bit much for them. I think they will upset a few sides this year.

On Behalf of the Doveton Eagles FC I would like to thank all involved from the Dandenong Redlegs club for being part in our minute of silence before the main game for Stephen Wright who tragically passed away last year.

This was very much appreciated and I wish Brendan and all the boys our best for the year.

Thanks

tragedy (noun): A serious drama in which a central character, the protagonist — usually an important, heroic person — meets with disaster through some unavoidable circumstances.

whilst i do feel for teh doveton eagles fc, and i personally played against steve in my forgettable career and can say he truly was a genuinely good bloke, i think the word tragedy is overused and not relevant in this case

on wif the foody talk pls, hampton v doveton granny for mine, ramma to kick the tonne this year
ramma to kick the tonne and bask in the sun on his way to dimmie glory.

Unless you know all the facts - which i am sure you don't - you don't have a right to comment on such a sensative issue. Pull your head in:thumbsdown:

Well done to both Doveton and Dandy for their one minute silence.

Both games were played in good spirit and we look forward to being more competitive against you guys later in the season when we meet again!

To the Dandy boys hang in there and get to training tonight with so many new faces at the club we will continue to improve over the coming weeks with results not far away.
