I have to disagree with the ashwood prediction. I think most clubs this year are just starting to click now so i think everyone is in the same boat there. Theyve had the four wins which came at the hands on hallam, sandown, e hills and south yarra. So they beat a struggling hallam. Only just. They beat sandown who wont be around in september. E hills beat themselves that day with poor kicking. And they beat south yarra. Which i wouldnt read into too much considering there most dangerous at there home ground and struggle on the bigger decks like ashwoods. See how they fair against black rock and moorabbin then judge i think.

Preseason game doesn't count for much big game this week for both teams.
I think sandown are alot better than what people think.

They have played top tier teams so far and have been competitive for the most part. With the only win coming against lyndale with fev in the team, i see lyndale beating them next time, as well all the teams that previously beat them. It will be hard to make finals with a record of 7-11. Just a tough draw for them

Well I'm tipping ashwood will smash moorabin... Ashwood rested x 9 senior players last week and when they played in a praccy match ashwood had 15 or senior blokes out... So you're assuming the side Moorabbin had in the practice game will be the exact same side Ashwood will face this week?
Also what club at this level has the luxury of resting 9 senior players? I'd say probably none. If by round 16 you're 4 games clear on top, then maybe you're resting players, but certainly not this time of year when wins are critical.
I'll hold fire until we see how the game plays out.

Ok calm down ... Maybe using word rest was wrong I was only going off what rossborugh said in his coaches report in the newspaper and that was that they had 9 x senior players out against sy... Sy are no easy beats and they still managed to knock them off... Which says to me they will be really strong once they get those 9 senior players back. Glad to see I can create some discussion at least that is not about e hills being flag favourites and dandenong stacking their twos ...
I'm not reversing on anything just getting the quote right from the newspaper.... Guess we will see after moorabin v ashwood to see where they are at
