No, that’s James Mangold’s, which has a writer but no timeline. Shawn Levy’s was like the fourth film announced recently as being in production with no description. People assumed it was going to be Mandalorian and Grogu followed by the Rey ‘New Jedi Order’ film and Dawn of the Jedi, with Levy further out. But the Rey film has switched writers and Gosling being attached along with a writer suggests Levy’s film may jump the queue and follow the Mandalorian.

The Rey movie has a new writer, George Nolfi, who has written The Bourne Ultimatum, Adjustment Bureau and Ocean's Twelve. Empire reporting that if the Rey film gets it back on track, Shawn Levy's film may fill the previously scrubbed slot of December 2026 and the Rey film the current December 2027 slot. I still think three movies in 18 months would be too much but it has been a long wait between films.

Levy's film is rumored to be set 100 years after the sequels. Scrap the Rey movie and put Daisy in that as a Force Ghost.

Not a bad idea. I’d want to distance myself as much as possible from the ST after that **** up.

The only thing that would be a shame is Finn not getting his Jedi arc but I don’t think he’s getting one anyway.

Yep. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I hardly take any of this stuff seriously anymore, how many filmmakers have come and gone, the rumours of creative differences with the studio, change of writers, release schedules and so on and so forth.
