He would if he played for GWS or GC!

28 possies.
1 goal
provides great link up and run
will be nominated this week for sure
how many players will GWS and GC get?
Stringer and Smedts played very well also
motlops disposal efficiency over 82%
I really hope he gets the gong but I remember Bundy streeted them last year for a few weeks and took a month to get a nod....
Hopefully it happens sooner
Go Catters..
The aspect that excites me the most is not only is he sublimely skilled but he has an ablility to rack up plenty of possessions - at very impressive efficiency.Motlop's had a pretty good month though.
vs North - 12 touches, 3 tackles, 2 goals
vs Richmond - 20 touches, 2 tackles, 1 goal
vs Brisbane - 15 touches, 4 tackles, 1 goal
Then there was the 28 possession game yesterday.

He also shows amazing feel for the game with knock ons , deft soccers and pushing the footy into dangerous spots - pick #39 Wells you freaking genius !!
As usual the deserving player misses out. Took bundy a few rounds last year before he was recognised.
Onya Stevie! It was a gesture that was greatly appreciated by the talented young player, who this week earned the NAB AFL Rising Star nomination for his 28-possession game against Melbourne.
That's a good point MC, and considering our lack of results from the 2007 draft there was/is a bit of a risk of an age-gap on our list. It's pleasing that group are now starting to perform.Slightly off topic, one of our big concerns in the preseason would have been the progress of our 2008 draftees: Brown, Gillies, Motlop and (to a lesser extent) Hunt. There were big quiestion marks over that group as a whole and none had cemented their spot in the 22 (though it seemed pretty clear that Hunt would be a regular in 2012). So far, you've got to say their form has been a massive tick for us, in what has been a pretty mediocre start to the year. If you were grading them, Motlop would be an A+; Hunt would be an A and Brown and Gillies would probably be Bs. I'd have taken that in a heartbeat, at the start of the season.
Onya Stevie, needed that one!I backed him at $8 to get the nod this week. So clearly I think he played a far superior game to Greene on the weekend
