It is time for change. How ever let's not forget Jeff has done some good. An came back when the club was in a mess, to offer a stable head an environment.

I do not like some of his action, keeping in mind he has done a lot of good for us.

With a new coaching board, it is time for a new management board. Let's go Hawkas!
Clarko did lots more good but when his time was up it was up

Jeffs not hanging around for the benefit of Hawthorn now its all about Jeff and his platform

The thread has moved on from time trials & DGB but found this on zero hanger:

Basically says DGB visited this guy too and when on his program they have to scale back all the AFL offseason running program in order to make material changes to their body (can only do in preseason) so running a PB not too bad at all

This bloke has tik tok, not a bad watch to see how hard they push themselves.

Covid would have opened up the window for TAC cup players to do this - if they were switched on

Just how much of a mess that the then president did the honourable thing compared to now?

Makes sense, it would be near impossible to add much muscle mass whilst doing a lot of running.

I can't remember if this is where we were discussing it, but I can confirm the TASMANIAN logo on our 2022 jumper is brown, not black like on the Hawks Nest webstore.

PS. Reference is a youth jumper. But I don't see why they'd be different.

That would make it easier on the eye from an entire guernsey perspective. Next step is to put the Hawks logo in the middle of the guernsey between the AFL logo and sponsor patch - much like the stallion on the Box Hill jumpers.

I didn’t see all the sessions prior to the break but of the ones I did see those who impressed surprised me. Whilst I was expecting it to be senior players taking a step returning (didn’t) or new draftees exploding (they did) the highlights in no particular order were Lynch, Maguinness and S Mitchell. Didn’t rate the Collingwood ruckman at all on recruitment but geez he has a go, we have genuinely 3 to chose from round 1 and it might end up really inspired recruiting. Whilst I get the strength improvement for Finn something just seems to have clicked, maybe a 2 year contract! Same with Mitchell who all of a sudden looks a smart player who gets the speed of the game. Lynch looks the obvious one to make it as the other two could be a preseason tease but they've all looked bloody good.

I think the jumpers for sale this time last yera also had the Hawk logo but I don't think the H&A jumper did.

Hey Linda, really appreciate the post and am really excited by your rating of those three and that the young lads are exploding (assuming this means they're demolishing the house).
I am curious though as to what you mean by you didn't see the senior players taking a step, and I'm curious as to how you'd measure that?

Seemingly the drive of the training group came from the new draftees and 2/3 year players. I just didn’t feel the level of leadership to drive standards from guys like Sicily was on show. My bias says this list is possibly top 8, to do it needs Mitchell O Meara and Sicily to take the group with them, not sure at this early stage it’s been evident.
