I noticed that too, and wondered who he’s been punching on with.Notice those wounds on the centre knuckle of both hands? Has Sam been practicing for punching in some coaches box walls?
Worpedo looks like his come back in unbelievable condition
(hale looks like he wears his shorts at post height )
Anyone see Jai? Looks like he skimmed down in the video but was hard to tell.

Super excited that the unsociable Hawks could be back (which is ironic since it's been brought to our attention by the social media team).
Read an article that suggested mid 6s is good for an AFL mid and close to 6s is pure elite. Putting Ward's strava run into context, he is one of five players to go sub six since the test was introduced (i think)... Sharp, rantall, maginness, one Dee's bloke and Ward. No player in the top 10 has gone under six minutes (since 2017)There may be no footy but (I hope) the pre-Christmas 2.2km time trial will be run soon. If the new boys are included it will be one hell of a race for bragging rights.
Anyone care to try picking the order of top 10?

I like where you are going with it.Read an article that suggested mid 6s is good for an AFL mid and close to 6s is pure elite. In other words, there are lots of good athletes who run very fast times, but it is rare to see someone with the legit football ability who can match these times.
For more context, Sam Walsh was probably the last pure footballing talent who was a freak freak runner. Ran a 6:07. Ward beat that time by 10 seconds. Walsh is now considered the strongest gut runner in the league. I think in his case it's probably more obvious how much he runs because he can also find the footy so it becomes more obvious how hard he is working. Ward can also find the footy... You see where I am going with this.
Wow - Jeka looks fully buff but it's his thighs that catch the eye. I think we're getting into Tom Hawkins territory there.
I wonder if Jeka's memory of being shunted off the line of the ball by Harrison Petty this year has driven some huge weight sessions.
I really think this guy can be a star - but he has to battle past Gunners, Lewis and Kosi for a spot (or can all 4 play if we go with 1 ruckman?).
It’s because they have to put on a heap of muscle in the AFL system, their bodies aren’t tailored to just run 2km time trials.Read an article that suggested mid 6s is good for an AFL mid and close to 6s is pure elite. Indeed. Comparing U18 times makes the comparison valid though. Comparing times of 18s vs seasoned AFL players is more flawed. It’s because they have to put on a heap of muscle in the AFL system, their bodies aren’t tailored to just run 2km time trials.
Jeez good catch, he definitely hadn't grown in to his man body yet last year... Has the talent as does Lewis, if they can bring in a better package this season look outWow - Jeka looks fully buff but it's his thighs that catch the eye. I think we're getting into Tom Hawkins territory there.

Or he could end up going back and pairing with DGB for the next 10 years.I have been thinking about that as well, an i think Kosi could play Gunstons role on a half forward flank. Leaving FF for Lewis, CHF for Jeka and the likes of Wingard, Bruest and Brockman at there feet.
And get ready for Denver, bramble and Brockman after a full pre seasonThe thing that frustrates me about this thread it makes me dare to dream every year. But by golly i've been waiting for mitch lewis to develop a rig like that, jeka looks a unit, chopflop 's theory on ward has me gasping for air, I dont know where to look i need a lie down
And wee baby SeamusAnd get ready for Denver, bramble and Brockman after a full pre season
Ahem! I think you mean T Croad territory! We don't talk about Hawkins unless he's doing something dumb.Wow - Jeka looks fully buff but it's his thighs that catch the eye. I think we're getting into Tom Hawkins territory there.
