If there is a year to be really bad then this is it. It’s only a 17 game season and the Crows won’t have to be booed off Adelaide Oval by 50k supporters for an insipid performance. This is a gift so tank properly. Don’t revert back to the old Crows where we finish 10th and miss out on the pointy end of the draft.

It just highlights that not many people are that interested in footy this year. There’s been a lot terrible games and playing in front of empty stadiums isn’t helping.Its sad that a Game Day thread started at 11am on the day of the game.

That's unfair, I pay for that via Foxtel. Now people are getting it free. Their gain is my loss. Life is unfair.

Ive been more watching the reviews and analysis on Fox Footy than watching the games which has been painful.

I just wanna see Hamill burst from deep in defence, kick it to Jones on the wing who turns and runs to 60m and laces out Fog, who has a speedy McHenry run past for the handball..... And goal.

The funny thing about this year and next, is that the time can and will go quickly. With any luck if we get Picks 1 and 2 in 2020 (coupled with father/son) and Pick 1 in 2021, we can really set ourselves up in 4-5 years time if the kids you mentioned come along and progress.

Not sure I could handle a 2nd spoon..... In a real season. But what you say is true, that could be well over half the side as first round picks.

Interesting to see how they lineup and who they use in the middle and break up the constant Crouch boys +Sloane as like to see Sloane play forward a lot more . If we can commit to working much harder in 100 % pressure on Suns on and off the ball we can reduce their confidence and stop them running in numbers at our defence.
Congratulations on Atkins 100 games even though most of us think been gifted many of those (but played a 100 more than me )
He along with many big names need strong games otherwise their egos surely are going to be dented with some omissions.
Still don't like us going in with no ruck back up as seeing Fogarty trying to ruck was underwhelming ay best.

I'd like to see players run hard at goals, I don't care if they **** up from there as long as they're attacking the opposition's zone. I'd like to see Brad risk getting pinged HTB a lot by running with the ball at goals and deciding on an option. I don't care if he fluffs the kick from there.

Its so imperative this year that Brouch has a stand out year. We need his market value to go through the roof to get Pick 2 as a lock.

As well as our new kids on the block, it will be good to see Luko, Rowell, Ando and King play (I rely on FTA TV) though will probably turn green with envy.

Give Jones a FULL game in the midfield. No more mollycoddling the kid. Midfield for minimum 80+ % game time PLEASE.
Why not even try Murphy in there as tagger? Brouch to wing/half back.

Definitely will be less heat and scrutiny on our Club if we win consecutive wooden spoons given the world pandemic IMO coupled with the lackluster games in terms of crowd attending etc etc.
By the time life settles for everyone, we could set up our Club for sustained success again in a short space of time.
