Here is an idea , lets merge the Big Bash and Super Smash, have a 14 team comp (8 Aus, 6 NZ) and make them play each other at least one time in a round robin. Could have 91 games in a regular season, and there would be genuine interest globally.

How does that sound or am I off my coconuts?

I wouldn't mind seeing some of the Super Smash and Big Bash teams playing each other to add some interest but I can't see it happening.

A 14 team comp would be too big and make the tournament too long, the time difference between Australia and NZ would cause issues too.

Don't do it.

Have 6 teams from Aus and 2 teams from NZ, totaling 8 teams, for a franchise league

Pringle is a more than decent left arm spinner in limited overs cricket and would be a chance to play for NZ if it wasn't for Santner.

He will probably just have to settle for playing international cricket for the Netherlands and domestic cricket in NZ.

A fantastic knock from Doug Bracewell scoring 93 off just 33 balls with 11 fours and 5 sixes has got the Stags to an imposing total of 206.

I think Doug is just playing as a batsman at the moment and isn't bowling but he still showed his worth as a batsman only with that knock.

small ground/short boundaries OR great batting?

It's a regular sized cricket ground there so more great batting from Bracewell.

He smashed some pretty good bowlers too like Wagner who went for over 15 runs per over off his 4 overs.
