It wouldnt surprise me if this is Guptills last season....you would be a brave man to have him in the top 3 tournies worldwide: IPL, Big Bash, The Hundred. He looks cooked even at the levels below those leagues: CPL, Super Smash and PSL.

Otago back to reality today with Canterbury knocking off their total of 171 with 4 wickets and 7 balls to spare.

Noted dasher Nicholls leading the way for Canterbury with a blistering knock of 59 off 33 balls with 9 fours and a six.

A vintage knock from Guptill of 85 not out on his own oval has steered Auckland to a total of 192 against Wellington.

The Stags will be the happier of the two teams after the match was abandoned for a no result after being 21/4.

It's not a good result for the Super Smash in general though with so many games being rain affected, it's even worse than the Big Bash.
