The Punt Rd ferals are in the "box seat" ;)

Would be good but as we will probably have pick 10 in the PSD, I can't see him lasting that long.
Then again it depends on how many clubs participate in the PSD as to what pick we have.

Greg Swann was on SEN this morning & he mentioned that we would use our pick in the PSD.

Maybe.
I just wonder if we might use #43 or #59 on a delisted player from another club. What the club would have to weigh up is there a player coming out of U18 level better than perhaps a Jesse Smith or a Joel Mcdonald. Either way, the club have some decisions to make in the next 6 weeks leading up the draft day.

Why wasn't he thrown in for the Fevola trade, to soften the loss of pick# 27? If we are keen, and I thought he may have been a good fit/backup on the HBF, it seems strange to delist him rather than be traded to us, or even North for that matter.

I forgot about Jesse Smith, I like the way he goes about it, of all the players I reckon he would be the best pick up, (unless Lloydy chooses to play). Poor bugger just cant get on the park, maybe he will be our new Dean Rice and move over due to injury to play in a flag or 3!!

Oh...God, post Fev trauma! I like the logic, three or four 'ready-mades' are going to make up the difference that's left after the loss of the league's best goal-kicker irespective of how good they are and where they play on the ground.

We've made the trade and it's come out in favour of the future. Let's not get cold-feet and try to have a lame bob each way.

what are your thoughts on our chance of getting, Macdonald or anyone else?

Yes we must get McDonald - simple because he also comes from the Great Junior Club St Marys Greensborough.
Just like Kreuze
Just like Daniel Harford
Just like Nick Stevens
Just Like Andrew Eccles
Another Kurraburra at Carlton would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not interested in Carlton recruiting another recycled bum that probably will turn out to be another Chris Johnson ...

Prefer to go with another kid in the draft ...

Exactly what I was thinking, surely if we wanted him we would have asked for him with the Fev trade. Can't see why they de listed him, they should have used him during trade week.

This is what Ricky Nixon says that the coaches he manages (including Ratten) have suggested to him will happen late in the draft.
