So thanks to the awesome Kennedy Parker you will notice a sticky post at the top of the pages now. This link will take you directly to the Swans YouTube channel which features interviews etc.

The whole thing was speculation... talking about a 4 yr lucrative contract and the Swans tight cap... how would he know about either? Answer: he doesn't, he just made it up! And suggesting that Joel is likely to take his place is just bull sh*t!

Victoria can keep their medial bias imo... it's just BS anyway...
He's NSW i think gave votes last week and had NFI

Just had a listen to Horse's press conference from today and geez he's impressive in front of the media.
Some other coaches treat certain questions/reporters with disdain or attempt some points scoring, whereas Longmire is professional throughout, even when he does get asked nonsense questions (more often than not relating to Buddy).
He comes across as a level headed individual (although come game day Dean Cox may disagree) and I have no idea if he has a tattoo but I'd suggest one that would reflect his philosophy on life would be;

I've enjoyed these weekly interviews with Horse. I'm finding the questions have been interesting and actually valid from Swans & NSW perspective so kudos to the press peeps. The Buddy questions are actually becoming an IN joke between them and Horse actually, its quiet funny.

Apparently Adam Goodes has knocked back HoF elevation. There is a story in the Hun but it is paywalled.
Good on him. The footy industry's treatment of him was shameful and disgusting, and they'll be keen to get him in the HOF to exonerate themselves in the history books, more than to celebrate Goodes. Now anytime it comes up in years to come, everyone will have to sheepishly explain the exact reasons that a multiple Brownlow winner hasn't been elevated.

My thoughts exactly.

I'd like to think that Adam has more fulfilling things in his life now and he doesn't need the approval of a sporting administration that failed him so terribly.

I know everyone will tell me how poorly he was treated and I am being a jerk , but he should accept imo

Idiots win this way , and this is about him not what some other ****ers think /do

Come in and use the platform and take your spot Adam

I reckon he will when that upper class @urd Gill gives it away .

Couldn’t agree more , I just didn’t want to say it

I think he needs to move but I’m obviously not in his position so I really can’t comment

**** Gil though

Get up and call the prick out

End of the day the AFL comp being custodians of the greater code /hall of fame etc is an issue

But for every ****er who Adam feels pushed him out there are hundreds of thousands of us who cherished every minute of watching the great man, who cheered him on, who tried to drown out any boos etc

Get up and thank them for a start

have you seen the book and the ignorant fools that are on there . I've given up having a crack back

Comes down to why he isn't accepting it. If it's because he got booed, then accept it in spite of those idiots but if it's because he felt the AFL weren't treating him right during this time and he lacked support from the org then declining makes sense.

Yeah I get it, just don’t agree it’s the right answer

Not like he will be booed at the dinner for a start and the morons who dislike him will always be that way

I think more of us love the great man

I know he feels let down by the afl but yeah I’d just like to see him give them a serve

Not going to hold it against him and I accept most think he’s doing the right thing that’s fine

The nomination is just hollow though. The idiots who booed him aren't stopping him from getting into the HOF. This is on Adam's terms and him declining it means he's calling the shots. Nothing he has achieved as a footy player will be changed if he's in the HOF or not and it remains a stain on the administration for not doing more to support him.

He's still an Australian of the Year and he has a family now and important charity work. Maybe the HOF doesn't mean anything to him any more because he's got some perspective on what's really important.

Yeah true

But It means a lot to others who supported him , go for them then

Don’t we all want to see arguably our best player in the hall of fame ? This is just so sad

It’s hardly hollow , he’s more than qualified to be there, besides maybe it’s their way of repairing things as well, at some point he should accept the majority love him
