I mean if the coaches were worried about Essendon's forward line being too tall with Melican out, they'd have brought Aliir in. He's one of our emergencies too. But they didn't, they opted for the small, quick Cunningham.

I actually thought during the week that our defence might be a little lead-footed against a quick Essendon forward line, so I'm perfectly OK with this move.
