AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
To be fair they've won one in the seventeen years of this thread too, and there's only been a couple who went overboard in all that time so full credit to them. All of a sudden this thread feels like it's punching down.
Commiserations, Swans fans
Absolutely; they were all a pleasure that I came across and feel terrible for them and only wish the best for them. Whilst of course some left, a lot to their credit, stuck around for our presentation, clapped our boys and wished us well. Classy.I know this is neither the right time or place for this but I have to say the all of the Swannies we have encountered in the 4 days down in Melbourne have been great. Such a different vibe to last year.
I suppose it makes sense but... They're so used to losing grand finals they've become classy in their tolerance and resilience. Must be a membership requirement of such a pissweak club.

So pissweak can't even make fun of us! Worst premiership fans ever!Using this tread to gloat would be........ well.........
......................Pissweak
Well they are experts on throwing and there's not that much difference between throwing a ball and throwing a game.I mean sh*t, I saw a bulldogs poster saying that your premiership should have an asterisks next to it because your opposition didn’t count. A bulldogs supporter claiming you should have an asterisk for a premiership, can it get any lower than that!?
Can't throw a game if your team doesn't turn up. Check mate!Well they are experts on throwing and there's not that much difference between throwing a ball and throwing a game.
I think it takes a certain hardness to drop by as a Swans fan in the aftermath, which is where the thread actually has (for me anyway) it's philosophical value - we won, you lost....and the universe moves on. We would have beaten anybody and I think that rolling 3 of the 4 teams above us to lift the cup supports that....there's no shame in being beaten by a better team.
Once this year is over, everyone is back in pre-season, 2024 becomes the (glorious) past. Resting on past glories is often a recipe for imminent decline
When the fixture is announced for 2025, we can pencil in the Pissweak Cup for the Lions-Swans matchup.
