Has anyone heard about the bushies u19 players for 08?? i heard they might not be having any..
In Shepparton News this week, Matt Delidio was offered an U19 position but declined and will play GVFL for Kyabram, and Ash Hockey is heading to the VFL club Northern Bullants.
Ryan Normington?
Strange decision, but I guess a realistic decision. Good he can give a bit back to his local club, probably earn some decent coin in the process. But unusual for a young player to not want a crack at the AFL - particularly when two much better avenues for getting there were available to him.Matt Delidio was offered an U19 position but declined and will play GVFL for Kyabram
any one know on teams like bendigo or rebels or geelong yet?
Good. I hope he does. He's had a bad run with injuries. Got a bit to work on, but has height on his side. They're the type of players who should be playing as 19 yr olds.possibly big jordan florance might be having another crack with the pio's, will be his fourth year in the system if true.

Thats interesting mate, assume he moved to Melbourne for uni or work? Revealing my identity a little but he and his father spoke to me at a match last year, Jordan seemed like a good bloke. I hope he has some success. He will be playing with the Pioneers as 19year old. But is training with the Western Jets at the moment
Yes, each club is allowed two. Western are allowed four. Can u be 19 and play TAC cup? im 18 now and turning 19 in december??...
beause there crap...why is western allowed four?
very correct Footy08 i was bout to write the same! but ya bet me to itbeause there crap...
nah but really i think they get four to even up the comp and i think maybe they have a smaller area to pick players from ect?

Thats harsh but contains some truth. I think the Jets feel their zone disadvantages them but Im sure AFL Vic want to see them be more competitive too given they've had little success in recent times.beause there crap...
I saw on the Knights website Adam Woodhams will be joining Matt Quinton as 19 year olds at Northern.anymore under 19 players come through yet for clubs?
Sandringham. I think he's at uni in Melbourne.i hear jayden donaldson formaly from bendigo pioneers is playing as a u/19year old but not for bendigo? can anyone tell me why this is?

Seems to be more chopping and changing of TAC Cup clubs this year than ever before in the history of the competition. Not sure if thats a good thing or not.
I'm with you, I don't think he should be eligible. He's a 188cm, solid half back for a level below AFL, who has played 28 TAC Cup games over 2 years - thats probably enough exposure.I know he has had a fair bit of trouble with injuries but is he the sort of player the the 19 rule was brought in for? i understand he had some pretty close AFL attention last year but do u think he has missed his chance? i thought it was for people who missed a year of footy.
Richard Jones was the big ruckman from Carey wasn't he? Worthy of another year.
