Matt Delidio was offered an U19 position but declined and will play GVFL for Kyabram
Strange decision, but I guess a realistic decision. Good he can give a bit back to his local club, probably earn some decent coin in the process. But unusual for a young player to not want a crack at the AFL - particularly when two much better avenues for getting there were available to him.

possibly big jordan florance might be having another crack with the pio's, will be his fourth year in the system if true.
Good. I hope he does. He's had a bad run with injuries. Got a bit to work on, but has height on his side. They're the type of players who should be playing as 19 yr olds.

He will be playing with the Pioneers as 19year old. But is training with the Western Jets at the moment
Thats interesting mate, assume he moved to Melbourne for uni or work? Revealing my identity a little but he and his father spoke to me at a match last year, Jordan seemed like a good bloke. I hope he has some success.

beause there crap...
Thats harsh but contains some truth. I think the Jets feel their zone disadvantages them but Im sure AFL Vic want to see them be more competitive too given they've had little success in recent times.

Interesting that clubs are allowed three Chandra, will be strange that sides might have three and some may choose not to have any. Again, as long as the right types are picked it wont be a problem. No tanks allowed.

i hear jayden donaldson formaly from bendigo pioneers is playing as a u/19year old but not for bendigo? can anyone tell me why this is?
Sandringham. I think he's at uni in Melbourne.

Seems to be more chopping and changing of TAC Cup clubs this year than ever before in the history of the competition. Not sure if thats a good thing or not.

I know he has had a fair bit of trouble with injuries but is he the sort of player the the 19 rule was brought in for? i understand he had some pretty close AFL attention last year but do u think he has missed his chance? i thought it was for people who missed a year of footy.

I'm with you, I don't think he should be eligible. He's a 188cm, solid half back for a level below AFL, who has played 28 TAC Cup games over 2 years - thats probably enough exposure.

Gets back to my continual argument about the criteria...it seems yet another unwritten TAC Cup rule as to how U19s are selected. Maybe the clowns in charge of the competition should write a rule book about eligibility.
