Calcium Man said:It would depend on the price. If he was cheap enough then by all means. But collingwood will probaly want over market value.
tigerdan said:No.
He's not as good as his reputation. In many ways a Richo clone. Lots of contested marks, leads to flanks, suspect kicking for goal, head not screwed on.

Bojangles17 said:all due respects tiger dan , he's hundereds of goals behind richo and still will be once he hangs the ol boots up...give richo some credit he has more G & D in his little toe than a lazy bum like tarrant would ever hope to have
tigerdan said:I mean style of player. Richo has a surprisingly good record when you consider how much angst he has caused tiger fans over the years.
But Tarrant is the same style player as Richo (IMHO) and I don't think we need that.
Bojangles17 said:not so sure about that...how many contested marks would tarrant take apart from the odd hanger...I think Pettifer would be closer to Tarrant than richo
Agreed. We need strong ballwinners in the guts and a big man in the backline, not more forward flankers.Bojangles17 said:NO, absolutely NOT, would come at a huge price and simply would not resolve the problems that we have in competing with top 4 sides
Put bluntly, we didn't cut it with the top 4 coz One, we couldnt get first hands on the pill and Two, we couldn't stop power forwards...How Tarrant or Aker for that matter could help fill those two gaps f$%# knows
A whole pack of mental cases putting themselves out there for trade this year. I hope we stay away from the lot of them. Let us develop our own mental f***-ups.
Exactlyata40 said:With Richo leading wide and deep on one flank and Tarrant doing the same on the other, we might as well be playing footy in the stands.
Collingwood will not get rid of a potential marque player especially with Buckley, Burns and Rocca in their twilight. Too many people at the club will be looking at the Fevola resurrection and be thinking same.
Everything that will happen between now and the end of trade period (including dummy bait offers) will be designed to scare the crap out of Tarrant.
You can leave the "problematic" bit out of that synopsis El Oxi oh and still be right on the f..kin moneyoxx said:they're all like problematic women.
