The most overrated player on our list by that far it’s not funny!
I'm ambivalent. I don't think he's had much opportunity to show what he's capable of and perhaps he has more spotlight or expectation on him given his name.
Allan's the one I'm most excited about. Again, it might be unfair on him but I just get the sense he has a good footballing pedigree and the right attributes to be a quality AFL player.

I don’t think he’s had the opportunity because he’s just not that good…
100% same page with Allan. He’s not taking Adams spot, but there’s plenty there, IMO.

Get Ed to tag along with Pendles all summer and he'll be the Rising Star next year
Too early to say.
We won the flag this year with a Brownlow medalist, Norm Smith medalist, this year's Brownlow runner-up, two of the best performing finals players, a Gary Ayers medalist and other established players running in our midfield, including Adams rotating through it.
Macrae's time will come next season, especially if Adams moves on.

Id prefer him to stay but if hes intent on going not alot we can do. Would probably be one of the last guys i would of expected to leave however.

No idea. Vice captain. Loved by the group. Maybe a few mixed emotions on missing the flag and acting on impulse. Came as a shock

Maybe he has been offered a 4 year deal? Obviously hamstrings have always been an issue and maybe he is now looking at the final stage of his career.
If he goes, I would only wish him the best. Just disappointed he leaves without that Premiership medal. He really deserved it. Has given 110% for the club.

Disagree, if he was pissed off that he didn't get the captaincy, then his the wrong player to be captain, and I don't really think he got pushed out of the middle, the coaches realized his importance to the team and therefore wanted to add depth in his position in the event of injury,
Surely has to be a contract thing. He’s got next year but maybe we’ve told him he’ll get a year by year extension on less money and Sydney have offered 3yrs.
Could just be his manager shopping him around to force us into more money or an extra year.

Not his entire career. He started with GWS.
While think he still has a contribution to make, also I think it would be in the club's interest to let Adams go. Now part of the 30+ brigade and if we can turn this trade into a younger version that would be useful.

He is no longer in our best 23. Injury plagued and slow. I’d be more sentimental if he was a one club player, but he isn’t.

You just get this nagging feeling that the only reason journalists report this is from rumours they read on here.
Then you apply your own narrative to it - ie unhappy with the injury management, then you have a plausible ‘source’ story. Or you add in the midfield angle.
Not saying the initial rumours aren’t true. It’s just the narratives that always feel so made up.
I hope if he leaves it’s because of the security of a better contract for him. It would be tough for him to accept that that would be something he would leave for, but it is a reality we all face in all our careers.

Huh? He literally just spent the entire year in the best 23 and played well.
Nobody anywhere near as capable is lined up to take his spot at this stage.
