Yeah really like the look of the forward line as well - very balanced. Shuey instead of Masten across half forward makes a big difference and have been a big fan of Strijk and to a lesser extent Hams this season.

Really good opportunity for the kids to stand up in the midfield without Kerr, Priddis and Selwood. It would be reasonable to expect we will get belted in there but it would be great if a Masten or Ebert or whoever really makes the most of the opportunity and has a real break-out game.

With Hurn back I actually think we are a big show if we can go close to breaking even in the midfield.

The odds for this one are interesting to me. Time was, even though we were terribad, that when another bottom eight side came to Subi we'd start favourite. The perception that our best footy is played at Subi seems to be turning into a perception that we just can't play anywhere - which may or may not be true.

The Kangas, for their part, have a long and colourful history of losing games when starting favourites, and you'd think that travelling interstate doesn't make things any easier for them.

But for all that, it's Brent Harvey's 300th and we all know that we like to let teams beat us in milestone games out of respect, so pencil them in.

I/C (from): Tim Houlihan, Jordan Jones, Quinten Lynch, Patrick McGinnity, Nic Naitanui, Koby Stevens, Lewis Stevenson

Would be my preferred bench. Stevenson over Embley would be awesome but that will never happen. I also wouldn't be suprised if Naitanui got a rest instead of Lynch getting dropped.
I agree with these ins.:thumbsu:

But Shuey did just as much at half forward as Masten does. Only cleaned up when moved into the mid field in the last

Indeed. Shuey has no future on a flank, he is a he'll of allot more versatile than Masten so he can look competent in that position in the short term.

I think thats where we are trying to get 2 having a group of player that can play more than one role midfield / HF/ HB Strijk, Ebert, Shuey. stevens Hurn, Stevenson, Sheppard, waters, Weedon, neates, selwoods, Leca, Swift all have to learn to play in each position

smells of collingwood really but their up there

Finally we are playing a really young team, and we have an excuse for being the worst team in the league. Looking forward to the future of this team ;)

Do you want to change your name to Homer Junior? The kids can call you 'HoJu'".

Bummed about Timmy H worst injury run ever!

Wow, that's young

i'd rather swift over mcginnity, but other than that im really happy with the changes.

houli cant take a trick, he's had one of those sam butler-type years where you just knew from the start that he was never going to actually play a game.

good to see JoJo get a game too.

super young side.

Good team. Kind of line-up i was hoping for much earlier in the season. Would've got smashed early but given us a chance for a late season run.

As it is, there isn't huge motivation with 2 rounds to go.
