Goldsack clearly needs a rest

I think we can cover Didak at his current output, Lonie out is a bonus. Resting Clarke is an interesting move, and I'm surprised by Cox's omission.

Toovey has been horrible in the 2s and is a ridiculous inclusion - surely it is cos he kicked 3 against them last time but even still! He was horrible for the 6 weeks after that game so who knows what they are thinking.

Licca is also a step backwards.

Iles and Stanley would feel very hardly done by you'd think.

Am I the only one that rates Toovey? He's the only guy on the list that might be able to do a tagging job (now that Holland's finished). He might not be the the prettiest player around but he's got good athleticism and runs hard. Just make him stick to Foley, and we'll do ok.

I was expecting the Cox omission, had some horrible tackling efforts last week, but I hope to see him back in soon.

I was thinking of the tagging job he had against the Bulldogs, in which he got 7 possessions and his opponent 28 IIRC. The Melbourne game, now that you mention it, he had 3 touches.

Toov's and licca is intresting i think toovs is almost strictly a tagger atm and licca is getting to the stage where i'd see that as his best value i think thomas davis and shaw will do a lot of running through the middle because toovs doesnt win enough ball and licca doesnt do enough with it

Christ, Stanleys game has gone into legend. His "flogging" gets bigger every time someone brings it up! For the record, against Robbo: 1 on Harry 1st Q, 3 on Stanley Q2 and Q3, 3 on TOOVEY Q4.

So far our worst team on paper all year IMO

I can't understand why you drop Licca cause he is out of form, then he does not play during that week and bring him straight back in.
Cox is by far more versitile than Goldsack and his disposal is 10 times better. Goldsack as much as I love him is not as good as Cox.
The Forward line looks like it will struggle unless Cloke and Rocca have good matches as after that the goal kicking power drops away with Didak out. Thomas will get a lot more attention now.
Medhurst has a big chance this week to actually do something so that might be nice.
Huge chance for the Tigers.

I just hope we can hang on for the Win and see Buckley, Rusling, Didak and Clarke all in next week vs the Dees.

I would be rapt if he did. I was convinced he'd get a chance after being promoted, but it will be difficult by next week when Bucks and Clarke return.
