absolutely, but at the same time don't want to risk letting dead bodies clog up the passage

Several km underwater where they need mobility to navigate and manovourve...it would be incredibly dangerous plus being sedated they can’t alert the diver of any injuries or face mask damage ect

Ambulances have arrived at the Thailand cave site where rescue teams have been making preparations to save 12 trapped boys and their soccer coach amid reports the rescue could be underway — or at least imminent.

It seems the boys may not need to have dive at all, though this has not been 100% confirmed by officials.

“Although there are some slightly difficult parts that we have to bend or crawl [in] we can say that we can just walk through,” Narongsak Osatanakorn, former governor of Chiang Rai province, who is heading up the rescue operation said of conditions in the cave.

“We have done extremely well as yesterday we were able to reduce the water level by 30cm, the record of what we’ve achieved.”

Thai kids are a lot smaller than blokes in full scuba gear.

They went in and it flooded so they ran further to escape it wasn't a case of just wandering in for fun
