God you're thick.

Try actually reading these articles. Barcelona have pretty much already begun negotiations with Sanchez and Rossi and with the rumor Hazard is now on their radar, it's plain and simple ridiculous.

That's not even getting to the fact that they already have a front three of Pedro, Villa and Messi.

so we are believing articles now?? That must mean Spurs have signed 3,000,000 players in the last 5 years. City 6,000,000 in the past year.

Official articles, not the shit you read:

Sanchez: have not made official offer to club
Rossi: no contact with player/agent/club yet
Hazard: rumor

Yes, they are interested, but we are not getting all three. Pull your head out of your ass.

If all articles are true then surely Modric is gone for 20m

If there are quotes, it makes it more believable:

It's also pretty obvious you're going for Alexis Sanchez:

Also, I realize Hazard is only a rumor for now you dimwit, hence why I only said you were linked (especially considering there were quotes in the article). Doesn't change the fact that your team's been terrible in the market lately. Mascherano and Ibrahimovic were laughably bad pieces of business.

As far as I know Barca wanted to do a deal for Sanchez, with Bojan going the other way. He didn't want to go and it ended there.

Don't really see the problem. Most clubs will have a number of irons in the fire, obviously don't expect each of them to come off.

Complete bullplop. Ba and his agent are going around spreading this garbage despite Ba accepting a loyalty bonus that contracts him to the club. He wants us to pay him 800k and leave on a free pretty much. How do you think thats gonna hold up in court?

Ba and his agent are morons anyway. Dont you remember the walk out strike he went on to get here? They couldnt hold a chook raffle at Red Rooster never mind organise a transfer

Most people ITK West Ham way suggest Nolan wants a move to West Ham and I imagine Ba will be thrown into any deal. 3 mill + Ba should clinch it.

There is an ITK on another forum that I post on that has said Ba can leave West Ham on a free transfer, but whoever signs him will still have to pay Hoffenheim future installments based on appearences.

In reality it sounds as though it isn't a free transfer, basically the club that signs him just takes over the deal that West Ham had with Hoffenheim and no fee needs to be paid to West Ham.

Does this sound right to you?

Looks like United are giving in to Blackburn's demands. Ridiculous. As far as I am concerned, a buyout clause is a buyout clause, not a "you can begin negotiations with another club on the basis that we agree on a transfer fee".

Surely that depends on the clause you insert into the contract.

A "you can talk to another club if they bid £x, any transfer will be subject to a fee being agreed" clause is exactly that. The fact that the rags so willingly upped their bid suggests this may be the case here. If they were on any sort of legal footing they would have just carried on with the transfer and lit the FA sort out the details.

Then surely if that is the "clause" so to speak it isn't a buyout clause?

Surely a buyout clause means "if another club is willing to offer a transfer fee of X dollars then you are allowed to leave".

It wouldn't be in United's best interests to get in a protracted legal wrangling with Blackburn over their valuation and the terms of Jones' clause. They'd potentially end up spending millions on legal fees.

United don't want any more legal battles after Heinze took them to court over not being allowed to join us :)

We are interested in all three you nit, so is nearly every club in the world. As far as who we are chasing, until now, Sanchez has been the only one we have actively had any contact with.

Also, say what you want about Masch, but he was one of our 5 most important players in the business end of the season.

And why do failed transfers have anything to do with this anyway? Just because we have made some bad ones, means we can't go for anyone? We are interested in three high quality players, what's your problem?

Then surely if that is the "clause" so to speak it isn't a buyout clause?

We're only going off media reports that there is a clause at all, let alone the specifics of the clause.

If they want to insert a "quack like a duck" clause and the player agrees then there is nothing to stop them.

Manchester United land Phil Jones for £16.5m (again)

Manchester United have refused to allow Blackburn Rovers to drive up the price for centre-half Phil Jones and, despite a late attempt by Liverpool to capitalise on the chaos surrounding the player's transfer, confirmation of the £16.5m deal is expected imminently.

Liverpool tabled a £22m counter-bid for Jones on Saturday, after it emerged that Rovers' Indian owners, Venky's, were insisting that the £16m get-out clause written into the player's contract was merely a starting figure for negotiations. The Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish, knew Jones' heart was set on Old Trafford and there appears to have been an element of mischief in Anfield's attempts to gazump United and thus potentially drive up the price.

The Indians were advised that the get-out clause allows Jones to move to any club which offers the stipulated sum and the original £16.5m sale of Jones was actually concluded on Saturday.

Football in brief: Sneijder considers Internazionale exit

Internazionale midfielder Wesley Sneijder has left the door open for a possible move away from San Siro this summer, despite pledging his commitment to the club last week.

The Netherlands international told La Gazzetta dello Sport yesterday that his future was not yet set in stone: "Only God will decide where my future lies. I can be certain of one thing: if I remain at Inter, then I will give my all to win everything again. "

Sneijder is a reported target of Chelsea and both Manchester clubs.
