Darn it. I'm proud of the boys, to get this far is a great effort.

But the ref(s) were terrible over the two legs, even an AFL umpire can do a better job!

We did about 90% of the job - got the goals we needed to have a chance & defended like warriors for the most part, but there's little thing about discipline and lapses of concentration that we needed to get right too, and that's where we lost the game. Barbiero's red card was stupid, two silly fouls and off at a crucial stage in the tie. The third Bunyodkor goal was galling because we just slacked off at a set piece and got done, so frustrating! A great effort by the lads to get this far but also annoying that the start to our A-League season is now majorly compromised as we'll be stuffed after that game/trip.
