Imagine if Treloar had done his knee in that tackle. I shudder when I see that at training.

Nothing in that tackle! Very clean with no checking or pressing Treloar, A classic tackle to lay in training. Smith is a good tackler ! not many people can lay a tackle on Treloar front on ........

We need to train further under those conditions. Our skills under pressure and when fatigued are poor and have been for some time. Practical pressure based training is the best way to improve, IMO.

With correct technique we won't see any injuries and a 2-3% uplift across the board in our skill level will see us in the 8 as a minimum. If we're good enough losing a soldier or two along the way won't have a significant impact anyway.

On a side note I think we'll see big things from Crispy this year despite the shocking beard. I believe he'll be elevated to the leadership group and I hope he's released further in his midfield role.

Oh dear Crispy... That wispy little goatee has to go. As a bearded man, you bring shame upon me and my people.

Sounds like he's training well though, which is great news. He's an impact player when he's up and about. A momentum changer with his goals on the run... He knows how to fire up a crowd and his team mates and it's one of those intangibles you need in a good side.

Hopefully no best 22 players get Injured.

Injuries have been a Big Problem since Bucks took over

No doubt many would view injuries as a big problem (the story behind some is my issue), but not as big as poor skill, IMO. I'm very confident that a general uplift in skill of only 2-3% would cover injuries to all best 22 players and most combinations thereof. Overall give me a choice between improved skill or an improved injury run and skill improvement wins hands down every time.

Matt_352 youll be pleased to know that your boy McCarthy is currently participating in goal kicking practice with the forwards/mid-forwards.

Also of note, McLarty is also doing set shot practice.

Broomhead is still skinny as a rake, but Jesus he is a dead eye. Hardly missed a shot.

My man crush on AT just went up a notch. Getting visibly upset when he misses set shots, just gave out a massive "YEEAAHH" when he nailed a tight snap from the boundary. Such a passionate player :D

Langdon doing laps by himself. Reid and Sier were too before but now I've lost sight of them. Sier is a freaking massive unit.

As frustrating as it is to hear that Sier isn't doing full training for whatever reason, it's refreshing to hear positive remarks about his appearance.

Did Kirby get through the warm-up yet?

Yeah Sier is looking super fit now, currently doing sprints with Reid. Certainly lost the puppy fat of last year.

Lol, poor KK. Still has a power of work to do to get himself in good shape. I did like some of what I saw from him in front of the big sticks though.

Reid doing sprints is a good sign! Great work Apex keep the updates rolling mate!

Goal kicking practice again, with a different group now. AT and Broomy are participating in this again though. AT just let out a massive F bomb when he missed :D
WHE participating in this too. Will be keeping an eye on his accuracy.
