Final thoughts for tomorrow with a clear focus on distribution from D50, KPD and outside midfield with (mostly) precise kicking.

26, F2, F3 for 28, 31, 46 in two trades with Essendon remains our best bet of getting back into the middle of the draft.

12-Travaglia/Lindsay/Reid/Split
28-Oliver/Moraes/Ough
31-O’Farrell/Mraz/Barrat
46-Gross/Jacques/Hayes
72-Johnson/Artemis/Sulzberger
77-Knobel/Stumpf/Champion
Rookie-Champion/Burgiel

From a club perspective Allan, Berry, Trainor and Hannaford are reported as on the radar but I’d prefer steer clear for various reasons. If none of the three mentioned are available at 12 I’d offer it and 28 to GWS for 15, 21 and 37. Otherwise Sydney for 19, 22 or Essendon for their 2 x F1s provided they agree to the other pick swaps.

Who’s out of contract at Richmond next year?

Asking for a friend, who wants the early heads up on our 2025 trade targets.

I am sure Clarke Kent is already getting in and doing the ground work early, by promising their managers that we can get a deal done.

Top 5 in most other drafts….. Clarke might have been out playing everyone here. Now just need him or someone of that quality to fall.

“Murphy Reid is an exceptional talent, and I think in most drafts he would go in the top five,” Harding said on SEN SA Breakfast.

Yeah, he wouldn't have gone top 5 in any of the last three drafts.

We do have a fair bit of trade capitol to make moves for the right player. Just a shame that the baker trade wasn't something like our F2 F3 instead.

Happy if we take M Reid at this stage with our first selection

I can't even work out why people are saying he's slow. Certainly doesn't look like it from his clips.

Rookieme say hes "not blessed with explosive speed" but that doesnt mean slow

And then there's this...

"A midfielder-forward who has speed to burn, which allows him to burst away from congestion and use the ball with precision. Reads the game exceptionally well, is a prolific ball winner and creative and innovative when in congestion." - Kevin Sheehan.
His 20 metre time is not very good at all
He has no breakaway speed rely's on his evasiveness a lot like Luke Edwards
He projects like Luke Edwards to me

It's very speculative. Eagles deciding whether to go tall or a midfielder. Reid or Hotton, or maybe Harry Armstrong or Jack Whitlock. Other clubs think we want Hotton.
Surely we're putting the information out there about possibly drafting a tall with our first to scare teams into going early on one or 2 of them

What's his time? He didn't test at the combine due to injury.

Phil if you trade our F1 for 11 I'll ****ing spew .
I won't if it lands a Murphy or Travagalia.

Especially when it seems the club may be trading for Warner.

Rather cash in our F1st now than give it away for Warner.
Pick 2 for Murphy or TT?

Yeah nah.

That would be a worse trade that us burning pick 3 this year.

To think that not so long ago I was angry at the possibility of trading 14 for Baker and 21.

At least at this point, things have already been so laughable that I'm in full **** it mode for pick 12. Hotton ACL worry? Don't care, draft him. Reid massive flight risk? Don't care draft him. Take two talls, whatever.
This is exactly how i feel.

The damage is done, the fight is gone. All i can do now is laugh and casually observe.
