If people ever say protesting doesn't achieve anything anymore, just show them this. Enough people took to the streets, some even giving their lives, to persuade the army to stop backing a dictator.

One thing to consider though: Hasina was at least secular and kept the Islamists in line. Will her downfall lead to Islamists taking power in Bangladesh?
