Why is it that when we have possession the opposition is tight on every single one of ours players are they don’t play a zone. When we’re defending we play such a loose zone that we can be cut up.

We move the next man in the chain to pressure the ball carrier who leaves his man open. And that continues until they gave 1-3 spares up gurus and our defenders are nowhere to be seen. I just don’t get this gameplan.

Cant we just defend 1 on 1. The zone has never either at Carlton.

And it's not just a loose zone. It's our defenders literally leaving their opposition forward and letting the forward run back into free space with no pressure.

How about defenders just defending? Why are the defenders so eager to follow the ball rather than defend a man?

I dont know but it may be a good thing, since our salary cap penalties, * have always seemed to get the benefit of the doubt about everything. How brave they are, pick 1 after the drug cheating, AFL administrative career pathway etc

I get them all the time because I accidentally signed up to Carlton Corporate thinking I was re-setting my membership account... I just ignore them but I can appreciate it would be frustrating and annoying if they haven't actioned your opt out.

Out of interest I did try the unsubscribe link in todays email and the form doesn't load.

That's what happened with me. I tried the unsubscribe link first, it doesn't work. Then I sent an email to membership, they said it'd take about a week to be unregistered. If I get another email last week, I will be actually calling them.

They have 3 good players on their injury list.

We have half of our best 22 out. We have players in our squad for Sunday who should not be anywhere near a football field but are taking soldier-like attitudes and giving it their all.

It's a disappointing end to what could have been a magical season but we are NOT *.

If we can win both the only way we will miss with 14 wins is if the Dogs, Hawks and Freo win all of their remaining games. And even if that happens there would still be a chance of passing Hawks or Giants on %. Any team would be incredibly stiff to miss with 14 wins - not sure it's happened before.
