Maybe I've missed it and have just been ignorant to it, but has Fev ever really been welcomed back by the club?

Does he ever get involved in club events or former player functions etc.?

I don't recall seeing it/hearing about it - but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened, obvs.

He does a lot of the corporate events on game days I believe.

The Zach Touhy story on SEN is worth reading. He was upset to leave, and felt unwanted by Bolton.

Nothing personal Zach, SOS sniffed draft picks on the assumption Sydney were chasing you with a fistful of picks in hand. We out-smarted ourselves on that, but at least we got Charlie out of the debacle.

Good on Zach for turning a crappy situation into a fine second half of a career.

Could never understand why some people booed Zach when we played Geelong - he never deserved that - glad he ended up playing in a flag - only wish it was with us.

Was at the G earlier this year when we played Geelong and there was a fare few around me booing him.
I couldn’t understand why it was happening so I asked one of them and he firmly believed 2E left us for the dollars. I tried to let him know that wasn’t the case but then a few of them piped up around me carrying on that he was a dog for leaving.
I have a habit of not arguing with idiots because I know I’d never win so I just let them be. Hopefully now they know I was correct however I doubt any would ever admit to it.
