Makes finals for the first time in 12 years with two stirring wins against opposition who have tortured us again without Hogan. Then don’t score a goal for a half in the Prelim.

2019 - rofl

2020 - find some consistency after a poor start and turn to mud against shit oppo because we can’t play the conditions in Cairns.

2021 - grind out a number of fugly wins during the H&A. Dominate finals with some of the best footy you’ll ever see. Flag.

2022 - somehow turn 10-0 into a shitfight to finish top 4 and get bundled out in straight sets by interstate opposition.

2023 - Play our some of our best footy without Oliver and Fritsch. They return and we can’t score. Get bundled out in straight sets because it takes us 40 minutes to score 4 goals and 2 minutes of midfield nap time to concede 2.

Schache as sub made no sense late in the season against Hawthorn. It made even less sense last night. Although we did pick an awful 4 emergencies to pick a sub from: Hibberd and Grundy are very specific, specialist positions, Schache (lol) and Laurie who’s barely played, showed nothing when he has and was a terrible choice as sub last week.

Football journalists are an absolute disgrace only know how to stir the pot of off-field drama. Most of them too scared to actually ask anything difficult of a coach to their face because guys like Ross Lyon, Longmire and Hardwick will happily clap back.

I could be wrong, but I think journos have to have AFL accreditation to ask questions as a presser. So, you're not going to get any hard hitting journalism there. They're not going to risk their jobs on the whim of what the AFL hierarchy deems to be unacceptable on the day.
