Who else has been thinking of R8 2015 when we redeemed ourselves [somewhat] against the Hawks at the G? We kicked 5 goals to nil in Q1, won by 4 points.

If we get a couple of players back I'd be quite confident. Cats are running into form... but so were we back in September. Hopefully Buddy and Rampe at least are available.

Geelong are never easy especially down there.

We will give it a good show if we bring the intensity and keep our forward set up , delivery . it was still patchy at times v the tigers

hopefully heeney has his form now

Very hard to tell if Cats have finally hit form or if it's an apparition due to their poor opposition - much like us the first two rounds. Having said that, they'll be keen to play well for their first game of the year at ABCDEFGHIJK stadium.
Fingers crossed Rampe's and Tommy are back.

let's just say what we think deep down we will flog them

pack of w***ers

got us on a bad day last year

Rest Heeney if there's any doubt

cats won't make the 8

Forward line for mine:
  • Heeney to take the Buddy / Amartey role
  • Logan to remain high half forward
  • McLean to remain deep full forward (so important to our structure)
  • Bring in another small, or play Corey Warner / Clarke / someone else as a medium.

i watched the game again and was particularly impressed with our last quarter effort. For much of the first half of the last quarter they bombed it into their forward line hoping to stuff our very small backs. The reality is that did not work. What's more we got on top in the mids and absolutely spanked them in there. So, when it came to hard ball gets we were doing it all the time.

Why do I say this? Well, the Cats are notorious for not wanting to do both forward and defensive running. They can be lazy.
