Can't see Port getting rid of Georgiades TBH.

Even if Port were willing to trade Georgiades or Houston we would still have to convince them to move across the country and uproot their lives to play for a club at the bottom of the ladder. They are under contract and well within their rights to just say No.

He is still living in Adelaide and has been for quite a while. Probably has a girlfriend there. Girlfriend is probably from there and has a life there. Might have a house and/or business interests there. Is probably doing some kind of Uni course there. He doesn't seem to be asking to come back to Perth does he? I am sure his manager has been sounded out by us by now and it doesn't look like we got an answer that made us want to keep pursuing.

Well thats your opinion isnt it. And not everyone shares your world views mate. If you wish to have a respectful mature conversation then thats ok. People will have disagreements from time to time but the way to resolve them is not by attacking the other person who doesnt share your world views. Id hate to see how you handle conflict in your every day life, you certainly would not get very far behaving this way, just a tip.

Do you think we haven't already asked his manager if he would be interested?
Does it look like the answer we got when we did ask his manager has encouraged us to keep chasing him?

That would be a resounding NO on all fronts. If he wanted to come and play for us we would know about it by now. And if he doesn't want to move then that would be a major problem if we wanted him as part of the deal.

I am not sure what point you are making. As usual. Because you only come on these forums to be a dickhead, stalk and try and annoy other posters.

See, here’s the thing. Just because I’m arguing that you’re wrong doesn’t mean I have to take the diametrically opposed position.

Georgiades is from WA. It’s not beyond the realms of possibility to think he might want to move home.

I don’t know whether he does or he doesn’t. Actually, I don’t care, because I don’t think he fills a need for us so I’d be quite happy for him to stay at Port.

But all I did was point out that he was from here when you said he and Houston wouldn’t be interested in moving. You then concocted a whole “probable” life for him in Adelaide as a reason why he wouldn’t.

And as for no players wanting to move across the country to play for us, we just signed a guy who played 20 games for a side that finished second and had no links to WA. So I’m not sure where that leaves your theory.

Sorry if I may. I do have the reputation myself but one thing i will do is debate someone. This Miguel fellow does seem to pick fights then back away from the debate, I dont think he is a strong debater, he enjoys them but he does not excel at them. I remember challenging him once some time ago and he back peddled quite a bit so i completely understand what your saying. If your going to put yourself out there you have to be prepared to debate sometimes.
