Anyway here are a list of posters I’ve got long standing beef with and also here are my opinions on which mods are shit.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m an atrocious mod, but you wouldn’t know that on day one. It would take at least…several days to figure that out.

Two years was the bare minimum penalty and best-case scenario when it became obvious he was actually guilty of tampering, which was pretty early on from memory.

I'm not convinced the version of events we got from Rioli quite added up to what he was eventually charged with.

We heard a lot of 'misunderstanding', 'tried to do the right thing', 'offered to take a blood test or second urine test' thrown around in the media (quite possibly made up speculation, but also possibly what the club believed).

When the truth came out, he had done it twice. Plus seemingly with some premeditated intent.

I don't think the club knew that until the charges were finally laid by ASADA, at which point we were too far down the path of backing him to be able to walk away.

He got pinged for the dope in May 2021 and the whole saga started in September 2019.

I feel you're slipping in your duties. There's at least another 100 pages of dribble in the Trade thread that should be in here. None of my stuff of course but I'm sure you know who I'm talking about.

It always amuses me ECE that when some say that next years draft is better, they get shredded because it’s not a “super draft”.

The reality is that better doesn’t equate to a super draft.

The tag super draft I always feel is a term that can only be assigned retrospectively to a draft cohort, after careers have been established.

As you are aware there are many variables and vagaries that combine to garner the label of a better draft.

The doubters never ask “ why “ is it a better draft????

By way of example in this years draft, if Clubs have a need for ruck stocks and or small forwards then it’s not a good years to be looking as the depth of AFL quality prospects, is simply not there.
Whereas both those positions, next year, have a lot more quality options that have already been exposed.
I think next years draft is better because it already looks, positionally better balanced with a larger groupings at positional needs.

Point is case:

There are no Nick Watson, Koen Sanchez, Ashton Moir quality small forward or even close in this draft …. Konstanty is the closest and he and Watson are IMO a round apart in quality.

Cadman as good a prospect as he is, I would rather Daniel Curtin or Jed Walter with pick 2 than Cadman.

So maybe as to not confuse the masses it may be better to use the terminology - of a much more balanced draft.
People can get their heads around the concept of a deeper draft, but the concept of a more balanced draft seems to be a bridge to far.

Oh and another quirk of next years draft…. I can’t ever remember so many left footers being available in what’s projects as being available in the first few rounds.

And then there is the dexterity freak what would you call Ashton Moir a left or right footer? lol.
