I dunno mate,
You were once responsible for making the Eagles board the best on BF. These days it feels like writing a blog for Chinese media. I don't get what has changed - we all hold love for the same thing; the Eagles - now this board has turned into something where jokes that once made this place great are either moved here or just flat our deleted.
I assume that you received a bunch of complaints from posters saying there's too much non-footy talk - or even not specific talk enough? I dunno about you or others, but when I've hung out with people and we've just shot the shit about footy we drop some truths, discuss some hypotheticals, have some laughs and enjoyed ourselves.
I apologise for my vision for BF or this board not being the same as yours Keys, but I think this board is being dropped into the meat grinder so that the few can be happy at the expense of many.

And sadly, the worst part is I love this place because we were entitled to our opinions. And I get there's a large amount of bull shit that gets dropped purely in the sake of humour, but that's all fallen by the wayside with this dump thread.

Iāll always listen and as mods we try to ensure posters are happy. I rarely get feedback via PM but do read whatās being posted.
Some, not all, posters expressed frustration in threads that there were at times long winded circular arguments between posters that became boring for those not involved. Another criticism was that threads were hard to keep track of because they could move quickly so informative posts were hard to find
We split the contracts thread in two - one for more general discussion and another wanting to focus on draftees that is more tightly moderated
Posts are rarely deleted, and when they are itās because they cross a line - too rude, personal abuse sort of stuff. This thread exists as an alternative to deletion
Further, the only threads that have posts shifted are the above mentioned contracts and trade threads, so the majority of threads are untouched
Those two threads have a combined total of about 16,700 posts. This thread is currently at 638 posts and if you take out posts that have been made directly into this thread, weāre moving maybe 1 in 40 posts
And thereās less posts being moved now because quite simply thereās less to discuss as trade period is over and the draft is still 4 weeks away - so things have been left to run more than earlier. Today I moved half a dozen or so posts here for the first time in nearly a week so itās hardly a regular occurrence
TLDR - I take your point, but do think youāve over reacted a tad. There isnāt a conspiracy to the banter that drives this board, save for one thread (on draftees) that is trying to be maintained as a genuine resource

No, I do not think I have overreacted. To be honest, I think this board has "gone too far the other way". And much like the rest of the media on this planet this board is pandering to people who don't have the ability to read a user-name, remember it, then not read their content. Or let's go one better and use the mother ****en ignore function.
I like to think I've been a fair sharer of my footy experience, contributor, and (albeit limited) knowledge of football with this board and site purely for my relationship of the game. I've been here for the ups and downs and highs and lows of our team but never gone to the extreme of telling others that their opinions or contributions should be moved elsewhere (unless bigoted). It's pretty sad to see the way things are at in here the moment. It basically at the point of me not wanting to post anymore - is it because I've always been full of shit, or just that people have become tired of it? Whatever reason it is it plain sucks mate.
I guess I just didn't make the cut.

My Dad years ago, had a letter to the editor published in the West Australian (when it was reasonable). There had been debate over a new flag, so taking the piss he suggested that the new flag be the southern cross representing the men of the country and the saucepan representing the women of the country and their efforts in the kitchen.
