A few things to add to this thread.
I really can’t stand comments on social media specifically requesting/demanding VICTORIA (or any state) stops importing migrants.
It seems most here are aware but way too many dont seem to understand that Australia doesn’t enforce state borders, immigration is a federal issue.
On immigration itself, I’m 38 years old and guess what, the argument against immigration are the same now as they were when i was 16 And when you look back through history, they have been the same for a very long time.
When i was 16 growing up in Melb it was Asians this and Asians that, Asian gangs running riot, Asians dont assimilate. Funny enough people realised Asian people in general work their arses off to provide for their family and build a better life, then it was the Muslims who were the ones who can’t assimilate and now its the Africans.
Blaming immigration for problems of today is a tried and tested way of causing division.
