11 injuries now? To Hall, Monty, MOL, Barry and Veszpremi being the most serious (in terms of the team) followed by Laidlaw, Schmidt, Smith and Playfair :

I don't think Veszpremi has done anything near enough to be classed in this first group.

I have to agree. I think he'll be a very good player but people seem to be rating his importance to our team based solely on potential when the fact is... He hasn't done much yet.

MOL will not play Reserves. If he can play a full AFL match he will play Seniors. Whilst it sounds lame, top priority is getting him to 300 games.

Apologies if I am posting this in an incorrect manner or place, but I would like to know why Jesse White has been listed as injured (hip). He now appears to be playing against Carlton however.
Has he an ongoing hip problem or is it an injury (bruising whatever) sustained in last weeks loss to Brisbane.
Thanks in advance for the information.

regards

Correct place and no worries.

Not sure which injury list you are look at, because Jesse White is not on it.

I didnt want 2 start up a thread on this and wasnt sure where 2 ask it so i thought here was best 2 ask

Can someone explain to me why...I have seen several players in our team with one or two Wrists strapped/bandaged why is this? Not everyone has it? Its because they are worried a vain my come into contact with something sharp ie a footy boot and be cut open?

Likely for added strength... they may or may not have had wrist injuries in the past.

A good majority of players strap their ankles for games, for reasons of strength alone.

Roos said on SEN radio this morning that Hall might not travel next week, he is only a 50/50 chance, could only manage running on the treadmill last thursday, hinted he was never really in the mix against Carlton!

He shouldnt have played in Brisbane, groin injurys shouldnt be risked, esp in the wet, our medical staff need a kick up the arse, and if Hall did overule them somehow, they still need a kick up the arse, of course Hall is gonna say let me at em!

(the 2nd paragraphs mine not Roos)

All players are advised to tape their ankles, even at TAC Cup level. There's no sympathy for a player who injuries an ankle with no tape on.
Wrists are an individual thing.

Hall ruled out of Freo match

I think he's pretty much finished. Still an awesome player when fully fit but I think a long career is starting to take its toll on his body. We'll see him in the team again but I don't think we'll ever see him fully fit and firing like we know he can. If he can come back and take the best defender, chip in with a couple of goals a game then we're doing well.
